“Hm, so many monkeys.”

Thousands of mandrills were hooting, roaring, and jumping and down at the shadows in Kui Mountain’s depths, and the entire mountain echoed with their ghostly shrieks. Even a Qi Refinement Ninth Deva cultivator could not face this formation, but it was at this moment that a cold and detached voice interjected.

The mandrills turned their heads back one after the other, facing the interloper with expressions filled with hostility – a girl.

Great Sage Equal Of Heaven Sun Wukong strolled through the mountain, drifting maple leaves fluttering around in her palm. The girl’s eyes were filled with indifference, as if she were an unfeeling projection. Each step she took seemed arbitrary, yet they also carried vague pressure.

The mandrills sensed Qi Qi’s underlying intimidation and retracted their fangs. They gradually withdrew, uttering growls.

“This Old Sun just happened to be bored.” Qi Qi grinned, showing her fangs as her eyes flickered with a cold glint.

Her figure instantly shot into the pack of mandrills. One sturdy mandrill was sent flying away still maintaining its bared fangs posture. Its organs flipped and flopped, and it was smashed into the ground. “Courting death!!” Qi Qi’s eyes were demonic, vicious and destructive.

“Roar!!” The mandrills shrieked, and they pounced by the thousands, their arms turning into the sharpest of weapons.

Qi Qi slammed her fist into the ground, and mountain-toppling power sent these hundreds of mandrills flying. Some were dead, others were injured – not a single one of them had the qualifications to be even be warmup for her, the Great Sage Equal Of Heaven.

In a few blinks of the eye.

The mandrills were completely routed, and the Mandrill Tribe’s remaining cultivators already collapsed on the spot, dead. Their expressions from before they died were full of terror.

“Great Sage, we cannot intervene.”

The miniature white ape jumped out to stop her.

“Why!” Qi Qi snatched up this white ape in her grasp and coldly asked.

The tiny white ape was a bit stifled and said with difficulty: “These are all ordinary people, a perfect opportunity for the Emissary to train. Only when he is in danger will we intervene.”

“But This Great Sage senses more than just ordinary people.” Qi Qi could sense that the power of a Star Name like hers was currently approaching QI Lin.

“That Star General does not have a Divine Name Realm yet. The Emissary can fend for himself. Wouldn’t it be better for the Great Sage to appear during the battle.” The white ape insisted.

Just at this moment, there was suddenly a loud noise in the mountain. The entirety of Kui Mountain jolted.

“Hmph, if something happens to Big Brother, This Great Sage shall punish you.”

Qi Qi raced towards the depths of the mountain.

“Wang Jian?!”

Qi Lin looked in astonishment at the gorgeous woman in front of him, “Don’t tell me you’re Wang Jian, one of the Four Greatest Generals?” Wang Jian was a famous general from Qin, who defeated Xiang Yan, attacked Chu, and campaigned against the Baiyue in the south. Together with his son, Wang Ben, they became the greatest contributors to Qin Shi Huang’s destruction of the Six Kingdoms. He was also of the Wang Clan and the progenitor of the Wang Clans of Langya and Taiyuan. All of a sudden, he looked at this woman named Wang Jian. Although he was somewhat mentally prepared, Qi Lin was still astonished.

Primordial World’s Divine Name Star Generals disdained to conceal their identities, especially in front of so-called Qi Refinement cultivators.

Since she was unable to kill Qi Lin in a single stroke, this young man had the qualifications to hear her name.

The long sword in Wang Jian’s hand was like a flaming bird, gorgeous and intricate, ever-changing and complex.

“You’re a Divine Name!! Why do you want to kill us.” Shang Yangjun was pale.

“Divine Names stand so high above, to pit yourself against us ordinary people, wouldn’t that be a disgrace to your name?” Shang Meng also spoke.

“Hand me the Pixiu Banner, and Your Servant can consider letting you go.” Wang Jian flatly replied.

“Milord, you cannot let them go, this is releasing the tiger back to the mountain.” A familiar voice urgently cried out.

“Shang Ci!!”

Qi Lin was not surprised one bit to see him appear. He recalled that this Shang Xuan had been killed because he had inadvertently stumbled upon Shang Ci’s father colluding with the Foreign Tribes.

“You actually schemed with the Foreign Tribes!!” Shang Yangjun shouted: “The clan has treated you generously.”

“Hmph, generously?” Shang Ci glanced over Shang Yangjun’s exquisite figure, a perverse smile upon his face: “I wanted to marry you, but your father felt that I wasn’t good enough. You’re just a woman, how can’t I be good enough. Today, I will make you know the consequences.”

The Mandrill Tribe’s several dozen cultivators also encircled them, making Shang Ci sound mighty and arrogant.

“You are worse than a beast.” Shang Yangjun’s expression was cold as frost.

“Hmph, I’ll soon have you know who is worse than a beast.” Shang Ci grinned malevolently. “The Pixiu Tribe is jealous that my family received the Li Heaven Chant. They’ve always scoffed at us, believing that we don’t cultivate the Pixiu’s traditions. People like you should all die.”

“Hand the Pixiu Banner over to me.” Wang Jian impatiently interrupted his boasts of betrayal.

“This Pixiu Banner is of no use to you at all. I don’t understand why you want it.” Qi Lin calmly asked.

“King Zhou Di Xin wants to initiate the Ten Thousand Beasts Unbounded Banner, which will bring disaster upon the Western Wildlands. This must be stopped.” Wang Jian’s smile was very gentle: “This young man ought to be able to understand.”

“But King Zhou has issued death decrees. If we are unable to escort the Pixiu Banner to Zhaoge, then the Pixiu Tribe will be exterminated.”

“This is simple. Your Pixiu Tribe must seize the chance to flee to the Great Primordial Western Province’s east, to Ancient Qin. Your Servant sees you are also a smart person and can make a recommendation to have you join the palace. How is that? This will preserve your tribe’s prosperity.” Wang Jian smiled.

Hearing their conversation, Shang Ci worried: “Lord Wang Jian, this is not what we agreed on. The blood of the Yin Shang flows through these people, they cannot be allowed to live.”

“Do I need to ask for your opinion?” Wang Jian faintly smiled.

A chill pounced over Shang Ci.

“It seems that this Pixiu Banner is already in the bag for Lady Wang Jian.” Qi Lin also smiled.

“Oh?” The woman stared inquisitively at Qi Lin. For this young man was still able to be so composed in front of her, even knowing her identity, she could not help but hold a new level of respect for him. “Don’t tell me you feel differently?”

Qi Lin glanced at Shang Yangjun and Shang Meng.

Just at this moment, Shang Yangjun and Wang Meng suddenly charged towards Wang Jian. They immediately used the Pixiu Martial Chant’s strongest move, “Pixiu Brutality.” Pixiu phantoms emerged, and destructive punch-shadows descended like a torrential downpour.

Without even looking, Wang Jian swung her sword.

A bright red sword-light instantly destroyed the Pixiu Brutality. The sword-light then turned into hundreds of soaring birds.

“Water Wave Mirror!!” Shang Yangjun’s Divine Intent moved. A gleaming and crystalline mirror appeared out of thin air and absorbed this sword-light.

“Heavenly Qian Plate!!” Shang Meng also activated a magic treasure. AN iron plate flew forth. The plate’s edges bore a sharp blade as it sliced towards Wang Jian’s head.

The woman swatted it away with a palm. The magic treasures of Qi Refinement cultivators were nothing more than toys before her, though Shang Yangjun’s Water Wave Mirror’s background was extraordinary, for it surprisingly stopped her sword-light without faltering.

Just at this moment, Qi Lin also threw a punch. Destined Weight Of Mount Tai was unleashed without mercy.

“What?”

Wang Jian evidently did not anticipate this. Squashed by destiny, her body’s power was practically eliminated.

Qi Lin’s palm chop descended towards her neck, and the chief of the Mandrill Tribe and Shang Ci stepped in.

“Qi Lin, get away, now!!”

Shang Yangjun bluntly shouted. “You absolutely cannot hand her the Pixiu Banner.”

“Wang Jian, don’t you want the Pixiu Banner? Come and get it if you can.” Qi Lin grinned. He would first need to pull Wang Jian away. If he was honestly no match for her, he would have to let Qi Qi intervene. Wang Jian was at the weakest Realm for a Divine Name Star General. She would not necessarily be stronger than that Huang Feihu.

Having said this, Qi Lin activated the Great Sage’s body techniques and fled towards Kui Mountain.

“Running away, are you!!”

Wang Jian sneered and swung her sword.

Phoenix Flame Slash!!

Sword-light became a giant phoenix that incinerated the trees. Qi Lin evaded this strike while a hole was blown into a tomb. “A tomb?” Qi Lin did not hesitate to scurry into the hole. With his years of archaeological experience, perhaps the tomb was the best chance to escape.

“Where do you think you’re going.”

Wang Jian pursued.

Just at this moment, all of Kui Mountain was filled with howls. There were wolves, tigers, lions, elephants, bears…ten thousand beasts galloped, shaking the mountain. A forbiddance was slowly erected.

“Ah, this is the Ghost Tomb Forbiddance!!” Shang Meng screamed.
