The dragon scales on this Holy Beast Qilin seemed to glow. A bright aurora spread in all directions, and under this light, all creatures in the world received its protection. Bathed in the pure light, one’s mind would calm. This qilin was indeed worthy of being the Holy Beast that guarded the center. Just this light alone had a protective intent, so it was no wonder it was described as such.

For those who saw a qilin, the world would be at peace, and the entire realm would enjoy fortune.

Although it could be said that the qilin was not considered that rare of a Holy Beast in Primordial World, it was still shocking to see one appear right in front of them. Qi Lin had previously investigated Emperor Wu’s qilin hunt archaeological site and critiqued the strange bones together with his senior sister. Back then, he and his senior sister even restored the appearance of the “qilin.” Looking at it now, no restoration could compare to the shock of personally seeing one.

It had dragonscales like cloud patterns that glowed with the brilliance of gems, a dragon head, horse hooves, and an incomparably immense size.

The light radiating from the qilin was filled with an ice-cold quality, as if it could see through everyone’s minds and organs. A boundless divine might, a vast and majestic might like a mountain, descended upon them from the sky. The Bird Script ship seemed miniscule in comparison.

“Ignorant mortals wish in vain to subdue This One.” The qilin spoke in human tongue with an arrogant and detached tone.

“To subdue you would make This King a Holy Emperor, and there would be nothing the Western Religions can do to This King then. Today, This King will have you submit!!” King Zhou laughed. Sh raised her hand and a blackbird phantom manifested behind her. This Destined Blackbird was as massive as the qilin, loftily spreading its wings in confrontation.

“Roar!!” The qilin bellowed, and it expelled an aurora from its mouth. This aurora spread through the sky in an instant like a heavenly canopy. Then, it blanketed the sky and shot a bright beam of light towards Di Xin like a sword.

This qilin had cultivated for millennia, absorbing the quintessence of the stars and mastering powers utilizing the spiritual influence of Heaven and Earth.

The light was like a rainbow, shining over everything.

But this Holy Beast Qilin had seemingly used up some of its Destiny. Although this light was intense, it appeared to lack the domineering aura of the guardian of a direction.

Di Xin brandished a fist. The “blackbird” launched towards the aurora. The green aurora clashed with black light, and the surrounding time and space immediately ripped and warped, not allowing anyone any chance to dodge at all.

“Hmph!”

Di Xin sneered, a snort escaping her nostrils. She punched, using her Destined Skill “Descend And Birth Shang!!” The blackbird ripped apart the qilin’s light and divebombed towards the Holy Beast. Countless stars descended like rain, completely covering the skies within a range of several dozen li like a torrential downpour.

These light fragments produced auspicious qi when they landed on the ground, making the ground teem with life energy.

The qilin’s “auspicious divine light” was surprisingly unable to ward off this strike.

Di Xin’s body was practically unmoved. She stamped her feet, and a black light rocketed into the air like a roc had arrived over the qilin. The girl seemed to become a blackbird, her hands like talons that violently clawed at the qilin’s horns.

Di Xin overwhelmingly wanted to rely on her own supreme divine might to thoroughly smash the qilin’s dignity as a Holy Beast. From her perspective, the Holy Beast that guarded the center was nothing more than a mount for her to ride.

As Elder Sister Wen Zhong1 had a black qilin as her mount, she wanted to ride a holy qilin.

The Qilin Holy Beast’s head was grasped by Di Xin’s blackbird talons. It suddenly let loose a sky-shaking dragon cry. In an instant, the earth shuddered, the mountains rocked, and the heavens crumbled.

Even the western fields were on the verge of collapse.

Person and beast were suddenly locked together in the sky.

“King Zhou is so tyrannical!”

Qi Lin thought to himself as he watched this scene. Even he was furious to see this Holy Beast qilin humiliated in such a way. His name was a homophone for “qilin,” a name his parents chose because they hoped he would become a talent for all the ages like the heavenly qilin. That the holy beast was being disgraced was like he was also suffering the same indignity.

But Qi Lin could not show anything. He needed to bide his time.

To be able to unify the Western Wildlands’ great expanses and destroy the Great Zhou, King Zhou  absolutely was not someone to underestimate.

The Holy Beast Qilin finally struggled free of the blackbird’s entanglement, and it flew deeper towards the Western Continent; it wanted to flee. “Shang Xuan, activate the array!!” Feilian promptly ordered.

Qi Lin nodded. All of the disciples immediately advanced, moving over the plains.

Di Xin was already a bit spent. She wanted to subjugate the Holy Beast, but without an Approaching Heaven magic treasure, that was not very likely. The girl took out the Ten Thousand Beasts Amulet and tossed it towards the sky.

The direction that the qilin dashed in happened to be where Qi Lin had erected the array. Everything was going according to plan.

The twelve banner-bearing disciples raised their banners.

The Pixiu Banner, Suan’ni Banner, bear Banner, Tiger Banner, Deer Banner, Wolf Banner, Leopard Banner, Monkey Banner, Snake Banner, Elephant Banner, Eagle Banner, and Lynx Banner.

The twelve giant flags unfurled all around the qilin. The twelve disciples used all their power to propel their qi-blood and True Qi to control the banners. The Holy Beast Qilin roared. The soundwave shook the banners, and the other law protector disciples also promptly poured their qi-blood and True Qi into maintaining the array.

Di Xin’s figure entered the array.

Subsequently, the Ten Thousand Beasts Amulet activated.

All of a sudden, the qi of boundless primordial chaos covered the qilin. The phantoms of the ancient Ten Thousand Beasts appeared in the primordial chaos, surprisingly ignoring the qilin’s might as they lunged and snapped at it. The qilin used its horns to defend, stomping its hooves, glowing with its destructive divine light, but the beasts of the array were endless, too numerous to kill. Once trapped by the Ten Thousands Beasts Unbounded Banner, there was practically no possibility for escape.

Di Xin was above the primordial chaos sneering as she coldly watched the qilin be assaulted by the Ten Thousand Beasts.

This Holy Beast was hers.

“Give the Great King protection!!” Feilian ordered. The remaining Blackbird Guards immediately formed a large formation on the outside. A double-layered formation, this truly was power that overflowed the heavens.

“Wang Xu, your contributions to this Holy Beast Qilin subjugation are enormous. The Great King will reward you well.” Feilian said to Wang Xu.

Guiguzi faintly nodded.

“See how long this qilin can continue to resist.” Feilian then said.

Guiguzi counted on her fingers.

“The Register of Deities has activated. This qilin’s Destiny is near, so it wishes to enter the Western Continent and absorb the Western Religions’ fortune. It should not be too long.”

“So that is the case.” Feilian nodded. She also felt this qilin was not very strong. Legend said that the Holy Beasts that guarded the direction were at least Ancient Deity Realm.

Everyone watched as Di Xin was about to capture the qilin.

All of a sudden, Feilian’s expression changed, “Look out!!”

The white bone axe flew in the air, becoming a giant hand that crushed an incoming sword-light. Feilian looked around.

All of a sudden, another presence appeared hovering over the ground.

Another figure emerged from the forest immediately after, landing in this place.

“King Zhou is without morals. You actually tried to use such a method against the qilin, this is simply revolting, unforgivable.

The sword-light landed in the sword box on Su Qin’s back. The girl rebuked Di Xin in a righteous tone.

“Are you the one who has been causing trouble in Yin Shang?” Feilian coldly said. “Just you alone.”

“Hmph, Elder Sisters, in order to protect the Yin Shang’s destiny, we must uphold justice on Heaven’s behalf and overthrow King Zhou today.” Su Qin arrogantly raised her chin. When she finished speaking, space split open and a succession of figures walked out.

These figures seemed to have been waiting for this moment a long time, seizing the chance to appear when both the qilin and King Zhou were exhausted.

Upon seeing them, Feilian’s expression immediately paled.

Wu Ding, Pan Geng, Di Yi, Yang Jia, Wen Ding…

All of them were surprisingly Divine Names of Yin Shang!
