The ocean and the sky were completely one. If one did not witness for themselves the gentle lapping of the ocean waves, then heaven and earth would seem to be on single solid piece of sapphire.

Qi Lin’s group followed the two female guards to a beach outside of town. The gem-like scenery left Qi Lin in awe.

A woman emerged from this gem as if she was breaking out of a cocoon. Her skin was fair and clear, her figure slender and graceful. She wore a blue long robe that had a multitude of ripple patterns, appearing very beautiful.

With fluttering tassel and flowing black hair, her eyes were surprisingly a shade of blue deeper than the sea and sky. If not for the fact Qi Lin saw it himself, he would not have dared to believe that a person’s eyes could be even more boundless than the Eastern Sea.

“Young Miss.” The two female generals greeted her deferentially.

Seeing her in person, Yu The Great was more dignified than he had imagined…and more beautiful.

“We have already brought the storyteller.” One of the female generals recalled Qi Lin’s words and hesitated.

“Your Distinguished Self’s story these past couple days about controlling the water was quite interesting…Is Your Distinguished Self also from the Northern Primordial?” Yu The Great spoke, her voice very soft yet also very powerful through her red lips.

“Your Servant has never gone to the Northern Primordial.” Qi Lin discerned there was apparently something mysterious in her phrasing.

“Never gone? Don’t tell This Yu that you concocted this story on a whim.” Yu The Great faintly smiled.
