Immortality Boat.

Xu Fu was on the deck performing a check on some ingredients purchased during this trip to the Fog Spirit Sea. Other than the Immortality Secret Elixir, purchasing spirit medicines was also part of her job. As always, after she finished her inventory, Xu Fu pondered upon what to purchase next.

Wang Jian returned to the Immortality Boat and stood beside her, heaving a faint sigh.

“You still haven’t found your friend?” Xu Fu glanced at her out of the corner of her eye. Ever since those Ling Qi siblings left,1 Wang Jian was a bit preoccupied, venturing out everyday. Xu Fu could see something strange in her eyes, but she did not make any comment.

Wang Jian grunted.

“You know, Jue’er, you’re better off not looking for him. He did this for your sake.” Xu Fu said softly.

“I know.” Wang Jian was expressionless.

“Although I’m not sure why he offended Yang Jian, he’s a true man for having the courage to act and take responsibility. I believe he ought to have already left Ten Shamans City.”

“Yes.”

“You went to the Tenth Market this time. How was it, is that auction still very exciting?” Xu Fu smiled.

“This Wu Gu is very capable. You should also have found out about the Illusionary Flying Snow rumor. Right now, someone is spreading rumors through the Fog Spirit Sea, rumors that there is a trap in Changliu that requires the Five Flavors Soul Returning Powder. The pills are in even shorter supply than before. That Xiaoyao’s controller apparently cannot bear anymore. The decision has been made that no more will be concocted after this final batch of one hundred.” Wang Jian pursed her lips.

Xu Fu sighed, “Wu Gu definitely is not this capable. Otherwise, the Tenth Market would not have been so quiet for centuries. I think it’s the doing of that Xiaoyao.”

“That Xiaoyao is very mysterious.” Wang Jian was in agreement.

As the Five Flavors Soul Returning Powder’s fervor grew higher and higher, the medicine refiner, Leisurer Xiaoyao, naturally received ever increasing enthusiasm. His identity and background were mysterious. It was said he wore a mask, that he had a profound air about him. Those cultivators who came from the Great Primordial Eastern Continent had sworn to call him a Genesis Universe medicine refiner.

“Oh, but he could support refining more than 700 pills for over a month. It seems that his soul energy is very formidable. Even if he is not a Genesis Universe expert, he is absolutely very capable.” Xu Fu already treated this mysterious Xiaoyaozi as the idol of the present, a medicine refiner whose talent could conquer the world, and the business skills he commanded left her in wonder. If this type of talent could be used for the Ancient Qin, then they would absolutely be like tigers that grew wings, to help Her Majesty defeat the Yin Shang.

“Do you feel his rest will be to go subjugate the Illusionary Flying Snow or not?” Xu Fu asked.

“Xu Fu, do you really believe that Changliu has the White Emperor’s steed? That is a Spirit Beast that would not lose out to the Holy Beast Qilin.” Wang Jian was still not very convinced.

“There will be a regular auction tomorrow at the First Market. In it, there will be a ‘spirit feather’ of the Illusionary Flying Snow to be auctioned off. If they really have the feather, I fear we won’t have a choice but to believe that it’s real.” Xu Fu had already received an invitation. This auction was very restrictive; only honored guests of the Ten Shamans could attend.

“Right, that Xiaoyaozi will also attend. We will finally be able to see his true face.” What Xu Fu cared most about was this. She knew that even if the Illusionary Flying Snow actually dwelled in Changliu, she could not possibly go there. Even if she stole a feather, she would be met with the Ten Shamans’ pursuit. This was the territory of the Shaman Spirit Kingdom, and the Ten Shamans absolutely would not allow anyone else to steal away the steed of the White Emperor.

“I also want to see him.” Wang Jian nodded.

“I will ask Her Highness if she will attend.” Xu Fu said.

First Market.

Ten Shamans City’s biggest marketplace. A little more than a month ago, the First Market’s auctions were filled with the most people. Everyday, the Wu Jade flowing through reached an astronomical sum, but ever since Wu Gu’s Five Flavors Soul Returning Powder appeared, the First Market had cooled enormously.

This auction today was considered a return to its former position. Although Wu Gu’s Five Flavors Soul Returning Powder was hyped considerably successfully, it was only temporary, after all. In terms of the scale of the auction, Wu Gu could not compare. Other than the much advertised “Illusionary Spirit Feather” there were also some precious magic treasures, jewels, medicines, pills, and Tier Three and Four ability books.

For the sake of making this auction appear very formal, only Ten Shamans City’s most renowned guests and the Ten Shamans’ honored guests were invited.

Qi Lin used the identity of “Leisurer Xiaoyao” to appear at this Illusionary Auction together with Wu Gu.

The pair entered the market’s Jewel Gathering Pavilion.

Inside was a very large hall constructed with winding, helical corridors that surrounded an enormous white jade platform. The outward appearance was interesting and appealing, but the interior was filled intricate carved balustrades and marble steps, sparkling and very magnificent.

An enormous void projection appeared in the surroundings. These were all an enlargement array, a bit similar to modern television screen. Every walkway and chair had a miniature observation array; one could sit and be able to examine every detail of the auction items as if they were right in front of them.

At first glance, the First Market’s auction rules, austerity and rigidity left Qi Lin unable to help but be impressed.

Although the Tenth Market’s auction popularity was very high at the moment, its quality seemed a bit lacking.

“The First Market is Ten Shaman City’s largest marketplace, after all, so it is very strict. After we return, I will send someone to remodel the Tenth Market.” Wu Gu said, unwilling to concede.

“En, I’ll also look around for some medicine recipes as much as I can.” Qi Lin could only help her like this.

Hearing this, Wu Gu’s eyes gleamed. She had already thought to speak to Qi Lin about this but never had a good opportunity to discuss it. “Then I would truly be very grateful.”

“I’ll also trouble Sister Wu Gu with my matters.”

“Relax, I’ve already dispatched people to take care of it. Construction of your boat has already begun.” Wu Gu smiled.

“Many thanks.”

This auction’s main attraction was the “Illusionary Spirit Feather.” It was said that using this spirit feather, one could track the Illusionary Flying Snow’s whereabouts. It could be said to be a type of locator, so the Ten Shamans were all invited. However, other than this, there were also some very precious pills, magic treasures, and abilities. Ten Shamans City’s strongest and wealthiest cultivators were apparently present.

Even that Yang Yuanzhi was spotted.

Upon seeing him, Qi Lin shook his head.

“What is the matter?” Wu Gu asked.

“If it were me, I absolutely would not have invited Yang Yuanzhi. Doing so could have indirectly weakened our market’s reputation.” Qi Lin shook his head.

Wu Gu: “…”

“I really am lucky.” Wu Gu suddenly said.

“Lucky about what?”

“Lucky to have you on my side.” Wu Gu was a bit glad.
