Snowy tufts filled the sky and fluttered about, half-pink and half-white, like a paradise.

As the group moved towards the center of the Heaven Sacrifice level, that enormous green tree changed before Qi Lin’s eyes. If it could be said that it was like a bright moon before, immersing all of the Heaven Sacrifice in moonlight as temperate as water, then gradually, a sun appeared on the other side of the treetop.

The ice-cold light seemed to have been set aflame, for it turned incomparably warm.

Su Xuesha also noticed this mystical scene.

“This White Emperor Shaohao is quite impressive. She built Changliu into such a paradise.” Qi Lin could not help but be awestruck at a glance of this mysterious Yin Yang Tree. Both this absolutely beautiful Divine Tree and the Corpse Tree from before were rare sights in Primordial World. For them to be able to appear in a ruin, it was obvious how much effort the White Emperor had spent.

Su Xuesha was not sure of this tree’s name either, yet the girl was very composed.

Back when the Primal Chaos Heavenly Court unified Primordial World, the White Emperor positioned herself as the emperor of the west. It could be said she was the apex existence of the Primordial, no less than the current saint. The enormous Changliu actually did not amount to much when the Immemorial Royal Family honored the mysterious arts of geomancy, using it to construct numerous ruins and ancient mausoleums. Among them, the “Primal Chaos Seven Great Halls” could be said to be peerless wonders from past to present, masterpieces that would make even the saint exclaim in amazement, and scale of “Changliu” was completely outmatched. It could be well imagined how rich and powerful the Immemorial Royal Family was back then.

“Just how was the Primal Chaos Heavenly Court destroyed when they were so powerful back then?” Qi Lin was increasingly curious.

Su Xuesha shook her head. She, too, was uncertain about this. There were very few records from the time of the Primal Chaos Heavenly Court’s collapse; that was an event already several tens of thousands of years ago. Even if these records existed they would perhaps have laid dormant for too long a time. However, she was very certain about the Immemorial Royal Family’s situation. Back then, under the Donghuang Taiyi, the Immemorial Royal Family’s “all men become emperors,” and their power grew to lengths such that they could even dominate the heavenly way. The emperor of the Immemorial Royal Family was not like the emperors of today’s Primordial World. Back then, they were comparable to today’s saints or sages.

And such a clan where “all men become emperors” was exterminated. Who would dare actually believe this.

Regardless, that period of history was certain to be extremely brilliant…Su Xuesha showed longing.

“Hmph.” Great Sage Equal Of Heaven Sun Wukong let out an almost inaudible snort.

“Do you not think so, Great Sage?” Su Xuesha faintly smiled. “They say the Great Sage’s Divine Weapon was crafted by the Immemorial Royal Family back then?”

“Wait until I obtain the Jingu Bang. Everyone, whether they be emperor or saint, will eat This Old Sun’s staff.”

Su Xuesha smiled.

“Are there still any Immemorial Royal Family Divine Names around today?” Qi Lin curiously asked.

“Yes.” Su Xuesha answered: “But they have already become the Great Shaman Clan, who pale in comparison. They are far from being dragons.”

“But I heard that the Immemorial Royal Family’s best Star Names like the Donghuang Taiyi and the Five Emperors can no longer be born again.”

“Why?” Qi Lin was a bit astonished.

Su Xuesha was not sure. She had previously gleaned some information from the Eastern Continent Gong Clan; back  then, the Immemorial Royal Family was too powerful. The Primordial Divine Names now were all very afraid of repeating the events of those times. The Primordial’s Five Sages and Ten Founders used a certain method to place restrictions on the Donghuang Taiyi Divine Name. In short, the ten thousand year Divine Names like the Donghuang Taiyi and the Five Emperors would never appear again.

Hearing Su Xuesha speak of secret matters, Qi Lin was more and more interested. As the two walked, they conversed with great joy.

The Heaven Sacrifice’s scenery was beautiful, including a sea of trees and tens of thousands of petals whiter than snow. The man and woman strolled under the tree canopy with cheers and laughter, like immortal lovers.

“Big Brother!”

Qi Qi interrupted the atmosphere.

“Hm?” Qi Lin looked at her.

Qi Qi reached out her hand and returned to her good personality: “I’m sleepy.”

Qi Lin smiled and carried her on his back. Very quickly, Qi Qi entered sweet dreams.

After walking a while, Qi Lin suddenly noticed that something was wrong with Su Xuesha. The girl’s eyelids began to droop, and she felt drowsy.

“Xuesha, you wouldn’t also be sleepy, right.” Qi Lin was taken aback.

“I do not know…All of a sudden, I feel awfully sleepy.” Su Xuesha rubbed her temples, straining with all her might to fight off this unusual drowsiness, but no matter how she fought, this drowsiness grew stronger and stronger instead. The girl’s footsteps began to grow heavy.

“Then let’s rest for a moment.” Qi Lin found a gorgeous tree with good shade.

Su Xuesha did not say a word either. She sat down, crossed her legs and began meditating.

Purple qi manifested over the girl’s skin.

A willow tuft-like leaf fell below the girl’s eyelid. This willow tuft leaf dispersed into the air with the slightest breeze, becoming a practically invisible clear qi that entered Su Xuesha’s pores. She raised her head to look at the tree above her.

The treetop was like a gentle and beautiful woman gently laying down.

“This is bad…This tree is ‘Immortal Slumber’…” Su Xuesha struggled to speak.

“What, Immortal Slumber?” Qi Lin did not hear clearly.

The girl’s eyes closed, and her head sunk into Qi Lin’s shoulder as she entered a dream.

The wind blew, and the forest seemed to dance.

It was just like a woman elegantly dancing. Qi Lin’s pupils contracted.

Something was wrong.

Wu Xian abruptly opened her eyes. The tortoise shell’s cracks rapidly grew..

She rose to her feet, and the other Ten Shamans also followed behind her.

The Earth Sacrifice level’s miasma was pervasive, threatening.

“Just how long until we can enter the Heaven Sacrifice level.” Yang Jian was already a bit impatient.

Wu Xian was even more anxious than her. These tortoise shell cracks were appearing increasingly ominous. Every minute she lingered in the Earth Sacrifice level, another indistinct and abstruse crack appeared in the shell.

“What is happening, why am I unable to discern these cracks.” For the first time, Wu Xian felt uncertainty.

“Even Elder Sister is unsure? Could it be someone has already entered the Heaven Sacrifice level?” Wu Pan’s tone was nervous.

They could no longer sit idle.

Wu Xian saw that the Earth Sacrifice level’s inauspicious qi was far from dissipating, “Issue and order to have the Shaman Clan Guards completely exterminate all cultivators in this place.”

“As you command.”

Receiving the order, one hundred of the Shaman Clan’s finest guards stepped into the shadows and scattered in all directions.

“Sisters, we will open the way to the Heaven Sacrifice level.”

“Very well.”

Meanwhile.

In the Earth Sacrifice level, on a sea, the waters surged. An enormous dragon-like Demon Beast leapt out of the water, its entire body hideous to the eye. Astonishingly, it was the hunmang.

“A lowly Demon Beast dares to be rash.” Yang Yuanzhi sneered.

His team of four worked together to unleash their powers.

“Once we kill this beast, there will be a way to enter the Heaven Sacrifice level.” Yang Yuanzhi ordered: “Everyone, be careful.”

Sword chants, magic treasures, and rays of light descended.

But this hunmang was an Immemorial Strange Beast. Electricity crackled like a net over its entire length; the Golden Core cultivator’s magic treasures were completely unable to break through. The hunmang screeched, and its lightning was like a sword flitting through the air, swiftly slashing towards the group.

“Young Master.”

Bai Qiyuan was a bit strained.

“There is no need to disturb her yet!” Yang Yuanzhi’s gaze was like lightning, and he suddenly recited an incantation.

An immense splendid light flashed. Magical energy pierced the heavens, absolutely blinding. Surprisingly, it was the might of an Approaching Heaven magic treasure.
