Su Xuesha did not reply, though her eyes darkened for an instant. In those memories just now, Qi Lin had never heard of the the Divine Name “Star Of Stars” Su that she bore. It appeared that it did not exist in Primordial World and was instead forcibly brought into existence by a cultivator, surprisingly making a saint the likes of Nüwa feel fear. Qi Lin was a bit curious as to just what the background of this “Su” name, that it was so formidable.

However, Su Xuesha clearly did not want to speak about her own matters. She had also viewed Qi Lin’s memories and similarly had no plans to ask.

“What next?” Su Xuesha hinted.

Qi Lin recalled that now was not the time to be curious. He took out the ranyi.

This six-legged monster fish was revolting no matter how he looked at it, but the Classic Of Mountain And Sea mentioned that the person who ate it could see clearly and resist intimidation.

Qi Lin first roused Qi Qi. Then, he directly roasted the ranyi and split portions for the two girls.

Su Xuesha hesitated. This ranyi’s appearance was a bit unpalatable in of itself. Qi Lin, on the other hand, had no qualms about it and ate with great gusto. Qi Qi also wolfed her portion down. Though very ugly in appearance, its flavor was like silver carp or trout, that is, it lacked any flavor; it was duller than even water. Qi Lin felt that even water had more flavor compared to the ranyi.

However, the two ranyi were very quickly consumed.

After a while, Su Xuesha did not feel any change whatsoever. Generally, the flesh of a Spirit Beast would at least increase one’s strength when consumed, but this ranyi was like air. Qi Lin recalled the Classic Of Burial and the geomancy arts’ records, “Let’s continue forward.”

“Forward?”

“Yes.”

Qi Lin did not explain. He sized up the Earth Sacrifice level’s undulating mountains and moved towards the source of the water that the ranyi lived in.

Their progress afterwards was actually very smooth, and they did not encounter too much trouble at all. Qi Lin had originally walked past this waterway, but they had not found any entrance when they were moving about it before. However, after having ingested the ranyi, a strange scene occurred. The further in they walked, the more the scene began to change. From deep to shallow, shallow to even shallower, like a gradually changing ink and wash painting. There was a sensation they had walked into nothingness. Su Xuesha frowned. She also felt something was not quite right, but seeing that Qi Lin did not stop, she did not ask.

Subsequently, the scenery became increasingly dull. Su Xuesha felt that her soul seemed to fade bit by bit. Her sensory organs, perception, and her thoughts seemed to lose presence. Even her voice was unable to come out. This made her recall the despair from when she fell into the “sea of oblivion.” An immense, ancient power entered her mind, making Su Xuesha feel fear.

Her fingers began to tremble. All of a sudden, a warm hand gently gripped her and stifled her quivering.

Su Xuesha raised her head and saw Qi Lin’s warm gaze, and for some reason she felt a bit safer. Only then did she notice it was not only herself, but also Great Sage Equal Of Heaven Sun Wukong who showed fear. To be able to make even a Divine Name like Sun Wukong feel pressure, it was obvious this place was dangerous to the extreme.

“If I’m not wrong, the Ten Shamans back then should also have felt this intimidation when they wanted to enter the Heaven Sacrifice level.” Qi Lin at this time was still analyzing Changliu’s purpose. His earnest appearance was handsome, yet it left Su Xuesha between laughter and tears.

“Are you unafraid?”

“Oh?” Qi Lin grinned: “The unknown always frightens people, but the more unknown something is, the more excited my predecessors became.” Qi Lin pointed at the goosebumps on his skin. He was already thoroughly excited by Changliu’s mechanism.

“You and Su are very similar…” Su Xuesha paused: “Both of you come from outside Primordial World.”1

“Does the Star Of Stars Su you bear also come from the place I lived in before?” Qi Lin curiously asked.

Su Xuesha was silent.

Seeing she could not easily answer, Qi Lin had no choice but to continue placing his focus on this mechanism.

“This ancient divine might should be a remnant of the late White Emperor. It’s the final warning before entering the ‘Heaven Sacrifice’ level…”

“Then do you still want to go?” Su Xuesha asked.

Qi Lin thought of the mysterious girl in his mind. Since she was so adamant, there must have been a reason. She had also saved him numerous times, so he naturally wanted to help achieve her goal. “Xuesha, you don’t have to go, you can stay here for now. The Earth Sacrifice level’s materials are sufficient for a bountiful harvest.”

“I did not come here for this purpose.” Su Xuesha calmly answered.

Qi Lin knew she was resolute and nodded.

“Big Brother, what happened between you and her?” Qi Qi pursed her lips. This strange atmosphere made the Great Sage Equal Of Heaven feel very uncomfortable.

“Nothing. Let’s go.”

As they continued onward, the mountains, rivers, and ground all vanished. Then, time vanished, and finally, even space itself vanished. After a bright light flashed, the Earth Sacrifice level’s terrible miasma completely receded, and a unique, absolutely beautiful scene that could only appear in dreams manifested before Qi Lin’s eyes.

The trio seemed to have walked out of thin air. Below them was a winding, dragon-like chain of mountain.

An enormous green tree grew at the summit of the chain. Its treetop was so beautiful, layered and half-covered in snow, each leaf reflecting silver light. From faraway, it was like a pure white moon had descended over the tree. A cool breeze gusted, blowing away the leaves like willow or snow. All the world was immersed in a faint white cloud, as if they were in the sky itself.

“True Dragon Hibernation…”

Qi Lin walked towards this mountain the moment he saw it, astonished.

It turned out the center of Changliu’s True Dragon Hibernates fengshui was right here.

It was very obvious that tree was certainly the place that the Illusionary Flying Snow dwelled.

“Let’s be careful.”

Without the Earth Sacrifice level’s miasma, this place gave an extremely pleasant and warm feeling, yet Qi Lin did not dare be careless. Since this was the last level, he could not afford to be. Qi Lin tried to fly, only to suddenly find that under the tens of thousands of willow puffs, the Escaping Heavenly Shuttle was completely inoperable. Each drifting leaf seemingly became a blade, and Qi Lin could only walk along the ground.

Walking along a small path, Qi Lin suddenly noticed that giant green tree had begun to change. From a different angle, the other side of the tree surprisingly displayed a sun.
