Western Kunlun, Jade Void Snow Peak.
A bright moon hung in the snow-white sky. The Western Sea’s snowy peaks were faintly visible amidst the sea of clouds, making one feel the peculiar solitude of being at a peak. The drifting clouds and flying snow fluttered about, fascinating to watch under the dead silence.
Western Kunlun Mountains. The clouds and fog lingered about like a dream. Pure, holy, and practically incorruptible, it was breathtaking.
Above the sea of clouds, a holy light seemed to glow, appearing even more hallowed, as if a gander could view the holy visages of the Western Sea’s immortals and buddhas. The divine and unblemished air of mystery was palpable, a magnificent world that dazzled everyone.
A tiny and remote pathway led far into the distance, where poetic immortals and mountains slowly unfolded.
Surrounded by mountains was a picturesque spring. Surprisingly, there was a crescent moon above the surface.
Under this crescent moon was a divine palace atop a snowy peak, at the center of the lake.
Atop the divine palace was a woman.
This woman was like an immortal from a painting. She was dressed in an elegant snow-white palace skirt and a crystalline cloak, and her figure under the cloak was graceful. Countless unique flowers around the divine palace vied for attention, but they all fell short compared to the woman.
The woman’s expression was undoubtedly beautiful. Even without any makeup, hers was a beauty that made this breathtaking Jade Void scenery pale in comparison.
Sacred, elegant, dignified.
Her bright eyes stared at the bottom of the mountain. Everywhere these pupils that concealed starlight gazed at became incomparably mystical.
“Master Mother!”
A gentle voice sullied this tranquility.
Another young woman in a long skirt of white silk appeared behind her. She also had a flawlessly beautiful complexion and an air of inviolable holiness, but under the woman’s gaze, she was much meeker.
The woman retracted her gaze.
“The Yayu has been slain.” The young woman reported.
“The Yayu was trapped by This One in the Valley of Two Burdens for a thousand years. In the end, its cultivation did not succeed in enlightenment.” The woman’s hands were clasped together, standing regal atop the highest point of the Western Kunlun Mountains.
“The Yayu has taken advantage the past thousand years to use Kunlun slaves in order to consume peoples’ Five Elements.” The young woman said. It was very obvious that she was fully away of everything this Demon Beast had done, but she had no intentions to eliminate it. “Just a little more, and it could have transcended the Five Elements.”
“Pity it did not obtain the power to transcend the Five Elements.” The Master Mother calmly said.
“The one who killed the Yayu is a bit special.” She hesitated briefly, as if choosing words to cover her surprise.
The woman smiled: “This is not like you.”
“I indeed am very surprised. The Yayu has a thousand years’ worth of cultivation, yet the one who killed it was a Golden Core Realm cultivator.”
“Since he has slain the Yayu, then This One shall wait for him to visit.” The graceful, imposing, and gentle woman was none other than the master of Western Kunlun, one of the Ten Patriarchs of Primordial World, Queen Mother Of The West.
She smiled and gazed at the landscape of the Jade Void Snow Peak, with particular warmth, staring at this Western Kunlun like a mother would her child.
…
The Western Kunlun Mountains were breathtaking. Immortal cranes spread their wings, white deer bounded, and other mystical Strange Beasts whistled by.
Relying on the Kunlun Map, Qi Lin and Qi Qi followed the route on the map towards the Kunlun Void.
It was uncertain how Wan Xinyi came about this Kunlun Map. Although the treasure map did not reveal every detail of the Western Kunlun, it did indicate many useful locations.
“The Nine Divine Gates. So that’s how it is.” Qi Lin examined the Kunlun Map and more or less understood the route to the Nine Divine Gates. The so-called Divine Gates were nine palaces he would have to pass in order to reach the Jade Void Peak. In truth, they were also nine mountains.
Qi Lin found that, according to the map, he was already drawing near the Nine Divine Gates.
“This place has a Moon Glacier. Little Sister, shall we take a bath.” Western Kunlun had a silver moon. This moon was always out day and night. It was said that the Queen Mother Of The West’s private palace was at the end of the silver moon, and this moon received the spiritual influence of the immortal mountain. It also contained the formidable spiritual power of the river that was soaked in the extremely icy Yin. Furthermore, the branching streams of the river also contained some spiritual power.
Qi Lin’s current location had a hidden Crow Lake that branched out from that Silver Moon Lake.
After Qi Lin cultivated to the fourth level of Nine Yins Nine Yangs, he was already no longer able to rely on his own strength to break through. He required the aid of Primordial World’s purest Yin and Yang energies. However, just absorbing a large amount was not useful; it would give rise to saturation, and he needed continue from other places. Thus, any place that contained Yin and Yang Divine Energy was necessary to him right now .
Qi Lin very quickly found that lake. Its surface was gleaming and crystalline, reflecting silvery light. It was just like a moon reflected in the sky, appearing very mystical.
Qi Lin stripped his clothes and jumped into the water. His pores greedily absorbed the lake’s Yin energy. Western Kunlun’s Yin automatically formed a leyline that was naturally cold and abundant in spiritual power, and Qi Lin’s major wounds left over from his confrontation with the Yayu healed considerably.
Qi Qi loathed water and watched from the bank.
“Little Sister, you should come wash up, too. The water here is great.” Qi Lin called out to her.
Qi Qi hated water and was not fond of baths, but the Yin lake was an enormous enticement for women. Seeing her big brother frolic in the water, the girl could not resist that allure.
“Great Sage, Western Kunlun’s lakes contain Divine Energy that will be beneficial for you. When you go to the Eastern Sea to search for the Ruyi Jingu Bang in the future, you will not be able to avoid diving to the Ocean Dragon Palace. The Great Sage needs to acclimate.” The white ape leapt out and urged her to reconsider.
Qi Qi thought this was reasonable. As well, the Great Sage Equal Of Heaven harrumphed and haughtily stripped her jacket.
The girl revealed sparkling jade skin as she happily jumped into the lake, but the moment she touched the lake water, Qi Qi still instinctively felt anxious. Her delicate body seized up and sank into the center of the lake like an enormous rock.
Qi Lin hastily swam over and lifted up this rock.
“Don’t be afraid, Big Brother is next to you.” Qi Lin’s words made Qi Qi feel safe.
Qi Qi was no longer nervous. He watched the girl doggy paddle and was giddy. He never imagined the all-powerful and omnipotent Great Sage would swim with this style.
“Big Brother.” Qi Qi blushed furiously.
Qi Lin saw that she had switched to that gentle personality filled with cuteness, “I’ll help teach you how to swim.”
Then, a young man and a girl frolicked through this bright and sparkling lake, harmonious and joyous.
While Qi Lin lost himself playing with Qi Qi, a rustle suddenly came from the lakeside. A silhouette approached.
Qi Lin was startled. He pulled the oblivious Qi Qi behind some aquatic grasses and hid. If he let others see him swimming with a little girl, they may treat him as a pervert.
No, Qi Qi is my little sister, how could I even think of such a thing.
Qi Lin thought. He had no need at all for this guilty conscience; Qi Qi was only his little sister.
However, it was too late to think this through, for he heard the shuffling of clothes being undone. The other side was preparing to bathe in the lake.
Qi Lin peeked past the grass. His qi-blood surged into his dantian. A beautiful, picturesque jade body was revealed to him, completely threadbare and captivating, lifelike and vivid.
It was none other than Chang, who they had met once before.
“Ya.” Qi Qi suddenly let out a bashful yelp.
“Who!”
Chang, who had just entered the water, was startled into immediately hiding in the lake. Her gaze swept towards where Qi Lin was, and glowing halos appeared around her.
Now, even jumping into the Yellow River can’t clear my name.
Qi Lin thought.

This chapter made me laugh, ngl.
It’s a nice breather chapter after the action against the Yayu 🙂
Yeah, for real. Especially with how overpowered that stupid thing was. Hm, but speaking of that Yayu… Something about it seemed familiar, like I’d read about something similar before. but can’t remember where.
