The Zhi Bell’s note blocked a portion of the attack, but most of it breached the defense. The Yayu suffered a blow to its body and was sent rolling far away. The Strange Beast was utterly shocked, not daring to believe this.
“Impossible, why are you not affected in the slightest.”
The Five Elements Universe Origin Shackles’ halos were blinding. Each represented Five Elements power. No matter which of the Five Elements the opponent belonged to, they would bind according to mutual restrain. They were capable of completely debilitating the target’s cultivation and magical energy. So long as they were in the Five Elements, even a Divine Name could not avoid this.
“Can it be that you are outside of the Five Elements?” The Yayu was shocked. Divine Names could only reach the level of being outside the Five Elements once they were High Ancient Realm or above. It had never heard of a Middle Ancient Divine Realm Divine Name that had this sort of ability.
Qi Qi disdainfully answered with another swing of the staff.

“Five Elements mutual engenderment!” Qi Lin immediately understood that it had used the other ability of the Five Elements Universe Origin Shackles. The Five Elements were capable of both mutual restraint and mutual engenderment. While restraint could weaken, engenderment could cycle magical energy near infinitely. However, this ability required resilient flesh and mind in order to endure. Otherwise, the user would self-destruct. At the moment, Qi Lin could not sustain this, but to the Yayu who killed Primordial Infant cultivators so easily, it was very easy.
