Mount Chongwu.

The Manman cried mournfully as it was split in two by the spear-light of Nezha’s tri-tipped spear, each with one wing and eye. The two birds that were previously one whole were now two, each flapping their wing. The Manman had the reputation in Primordial World as the “bird that flew wing to wing.” When the two birds flew together, their Realms were one, and they became invincible.

They flapped their wings, covering the sky, plunging the world into darkness.

“Oh, this Manman is quite powerful.” Nezha wielded her Huntian Ling. The Huntian Ling emitted divine light that was unable to penetrate the Manman’s wing formation.

The flood along the ground gushed and frothed under the Manmans’ instigation, becoming a swarm of dragons emerging from the sea.

The Manman looked around with their eyes. Wherever their gazes passed, an alluring scent wafted, making people feel limp and unable to exert power.

“You actually dare to ruin the Demonic Emperor’s great plan, die.”

The Manman screamed. The two birds resonated, their cries piercing clouds and splitting stone, echoing throughout the firmaments.

The two birds flew together, their afterimages like shuttles.

This was their ability, “Flying Wing To Wing.”

“This is bad.”

Hou Ji and Nezha were ensnared by the Manman’s Divine Energy. Unable to struggle free, the flood beasts charged them one after another.

All of a sudden, nine shining moons appeared in the gray sky, like silver platters. The radiance of their gentle, nine underworlds yin penetrated through the Manman’s wing array and shone upon Nezha and Hou Ji’s bodies. This light dispelled all haze and miasma; the Manman’s power was helpless against it.

The Manman noticed the queenly Changxi and let out an ear-piercing shriek. “Moon Mother?!”

Changxi stood quietly in the air, activating her Destiny: Cleanse Nine Moons, Bathe The Heavens.

The Yin moon-light suddenly dispersed the wings covering the sky.

But the Moon Mother’s power did not stop there. Changxi then used her Ten Million Destinies “Moon Chain Thousand Autumns.” That moonlight washing over Nezha and Hou Ji instantly changed and shone towards the Manman. This moonlight was not gentle like before; its radiance was like a chain, unstoppable.

The Manman attempted to merge its two wings but was trapped by the Moon Chain Thousand Autumns. The Flying Wing To Wing ability could not break free of the Yin light.

Hou Ji and Nezha seized the chance to exert use full power.

“Sweet Rain From Heaven, Rice Fragrance All Over!”

“Rebuking The Primordial!”

The pair used their Ten Million Destinies.

The “Bountiful Harvest” in Hou Ji’s hands plowed out the scene of an abundant harvest. As far as the eye could see, rice sprouted wildly from the floodwaters, covering the land in gold and even overshadowing the flood. The rice shot towards the heavens like a forest. Hou Ji was in charge of the “Five Grains,” and her Destiny was far from being a lethal technique. But Rice Fragrance All Over could suppress the Manman’s power, sate the hunger of everyone in its range and replenish their energy. The Manman let out a sound of disgust when it smelled the fragrance just as Nezha followed up with her Rebuking The Primordial.

The Great Deity Of Three Altars And Seas was not so gentle as Hou Ji. The tri-tipped spear stabbed and the Huntian Ling rolled, the spear-light like lightning. The separated Manman were too late to fly together, and were slain by Nezha with a crash.

“Changxi, you actually dare to ruin the Demon Emperor’s plan, you will not meet a good end.”

The Manman let out a struggling scream as it faced death.

In the end, this High Ancient Demonkin was completely destroyed under the combined efforts of Hou Ji, Changxi, and Nezha, leaving behind only a Demon Core and a tattered page.

“Strange, why was this Demonkin so infuriated by Changxi?” Nezha retracted her three heads and six arms and looked curiously to Moon Mother.

Changxi shook her head.

Hou Ji dismissed this: “But of course. That we could slay the Manman so quickly was all thanks to Elder Sister Changxi’s aid.”

Nezha agreed. That Changxi’s two Destinies were comparable to High Ancient Divine Realm, which honestly was too strong. As expected of the mother of the Nine Hells’ Yin, that she could wield such power without Chaos Rank.

After killing the Manman, the rain lessened enormously, and the weather slightly turned for the better.

“Finally, we will not have failed the Great King. I just wonder if Elder Sister Changxi’s Lord Husband will be able to slay the Fuzhu.” Hou Ji was worried.

Nezha was very optimistic; her idol Great Sage Equal Of Heaven Sun Wukong had the Ruyi Jingu Bang in hand. Back during the Primal Chaos era, Sun Wukong made tens of thousands of demons flee in terror. How could a High Ancient Demonkin possibly be a match for her. Hou Ji explained that this Fuzhu was not an ordinary High Ancient Demonkin. Back then, it received Emperor Yao’s favor and obtained her protection. To describe it as a Demon Beast was most apt. After the Primal Chaos Heavenly Court collapsed, the Fuzhu wisely hid itself. Legend said that it was cultivating the protective Divine Energy that Emperor Yao left it all this time in a secret place within the Northern Primordial. The Northern primordial’s Great Shaman Divine Names always were very fearful of the Fuzhu.

“Then let’s hurry and go look.” Nezha stirred restlessly. She actually wanted to see just how formidable the Divine Beast of Emperor Yao was.

However, at this moment, Nezha would never see the Fuzhu.

Qi Qi’s Chaos Rank Divine Energy strike focused the will of all creatures and slammed heavily into the Fuzhu’s heart. This Divine Beast finally fell to its knees. Then, Qi Qi activated the Ten Thousand Beasts Unbounded Banners and refined it into the formation. With the Fuzhu dead, the wind and rain filling Mount Ao’an came to a sudden stop, and all became calm in the world.

Only two pure white antlers were left behind, growing like tree limbs.

These “Fuzhu Antlers” were refined by the Fuzhu over the course of millennia. They could contend against the Blood Transformation Divine Blade and the Ruyi Jingu Bang, meaning they were not inferior to an Approaching Heaven magic treasure. Although the Fuzhu died, its antlers remained. Perhaps because of its guilt towards Emperor Yao and its sudden realization before it died, the Fuzhu Antlers still retained a bit of spirituality, as if to completely bequeath them to Qi Lin.

Qi Lin took the Fuzhu Antlers and sighed deeply when he sensed this Divine Beast’s realization.

“These antlers won’t be bad materials for forging weapons.” Qi Qi stowed her staff and walked over.

Qi Lin grunted and looked up. The sun peeked through the clouds as a tattered page fell from the sky. Qi Lin reached out and gently took hold of it for closer examination.

This page seemed to have been torn out of a book. The paper was not fibrous nor like leather; it felt softer than silk. Strange script very quickly faded from the surface of the page.

“It appears this magic treasure is the culprit.” Qi Lin said.

“Could a page from a book be so powerful?” Qi Qi held her hands behind her head as she curiously asked.

“It’s only a piece. The other seven arrays should each have one, too.” Qi Lin smiled.

Qi Qi went, “Oh.” She was not very interested in the flood or the array.

“If only Yu The Great and the rest have slain the other seven demons now.” Having dispatched the Fuzhu, Qi Lin breathed a sigh of relief, but he could not completely relax. Bai Ze said that only when all eight of the demons had been slain could the array’s flood be quelled. At the moment, he did not have the time to rush to other areas and lend aid. He could only pray that the rest were successful.

Speaking of prayer, Qi Lin suddenly recalled something strange. When he was devoured by the Fuzhu’s Divine Energy, he seemed to sense the will of Yu The Great, and then his body inexplicably gained a protective power that allowed him to avoid disaster.

“If only nothing bad happened to Wenming.” Qi Lin muttered to himself.

The siblings looked around Mount Ao’an to confirm that there was nothing they overlooked in this array. During the search, “Lingmeng,” the peacock usually perched on his shoulder, had suddenly flown off. Qi Lin followed her to a low-lying area; as it turned out, there was a pool.

This pool was surrounded by phosphorescence and a thick mist. Clearly, this was the place where the Fuzhu cultivated.

It had cultivated at this pond for ten thousand years, and this pondwater was a rare essence. Lingmeng happily frolicked in and drank this spirit-water. Qi Qi also had somewhat of an urge to do so, but she did not act on it, which Qi Lin noticed.

“Qi Qi, let’s take a bath together. You must be exhausted.” Qi Lin smiled. “We can wait and see for a few days now.”

“Okay.” Qi Qi’s eyes gleamed. She immediately stripped and hopped into the pond.

The spirit-light suddenly formed an eddy and released countless bubbles. Qi Qi sensed the spirit-water’s nourishment and showed a satisfied expression. When even QI Qi, who hated water, was so content, Qi Lin knew that this pool’s water was a rare treasure for Primordial World. Pity that after Qi Qi and Lingmeng absorbed the pond’s essence, the spirit-light on the water’s surface also slowly ebbed.

“Big Brother, why don’t you come here?” Qi Qi blinked.

“I’m fine, you two take your time.” Qi Qi shook his head. He was a cultivator; even if he absorbed the spirit-water, his Primordial Infant would at most just fully mature; this was a bit of a waste.

Qi QI swam before Qi Lin, grabbed his hand, and pulled him into the pond.

Qi Lin was caught off guard.

“Together.” Qi Qi stubbornly replied.

“It’s a waste on me, take it all.”

“No.” Qi Qi bluntly refused. “If Big Brother doesn’t bathe, I’ll destroy this pond.”

The girl’s eyes were very resolute; she meant what she said.

“Alright.” Qi Lin had no choice but to acquiesce.

Qi Lin’s pores opened, and he activated the the Black And White Mixed Origin Soul Technique. Although this cultivation technique of the Shang Pixiu Tribe was very rudimentary and basic, it was exceptionally effective when combined with his own Yin Yang Fortune Body.

The spirit energy and divine water that this Fuzhu cultivated entered his spirit apertures and cleansed his Primordial Infant, but he surprisingly felt the seven stars of his Primordial Infant light one by one.

Lingmeng watched the siblings from a distance. She jumped out of the pond, shook her feathers dry, then looked at the drizzle in the sky, her gaze jumping about thoughtfully.

Yunmeng Lake.

“Knower Of All Things” Bai Wanfang opened her eyes. Her bright pupils stared into the sky and saw peaceful clouds and rainbows, but a slight unease emanated from this tranquility.

Bai Wanfang began to pray. The surrounding bird script flew out from midair and danced around her. The girl was transfixed on these scripts, each entering her vision and becoming a mysterious change. As time elapsed, Bai Ze’s expression became increasingly gloomy.

“No need to continue calculating. No one can stop ‘my emperor’s grand plan.’ Not a sage, not even you…”

A mysterious voice suddenly came from Yunmeng Lake.

This voice was so faint yet tyrannical. It surprisingly penetrated the magical energy of the Mirror Of All Ghosts, Demons And Immortals. Even Bai Ze herself was unable to detect when the person had arrived before her.

Bai Ze was calm as a lake. She turned her gaze.

A woman appeared in the air above Cloud Dream Pond. She wore a dark red long robe, was draped in a wing-like shawl and had an exquisite hairpin. Her eyes were so fiery and arrogant, even Bai Ze’s eyes that could see through past and present did not dare directly meet her gaze.

Seeing Bai Ze’s humble posture, the woman’s expression looked as if she was staring at an insignificant ant, even for the Bai Ze who astonished Primordial World. “I never imagined you would actually calculate my emperor’s plan. You truly brought this upon yourself.”

“Wanfang merely cannot bear to see the people of the Northern Primordial become displaced. This goes against the will of the heavenly way.” Bai Ze’s voice shuddered, but she was unwilling to back down.

“The heavenly way?” The woman’s tone showed a bit of disdain. “The time has come to re-establish the heavenly way.”

Bai Ze was shocked.

“Bai Ze, allow Me to help your Divine Name be reborn so that you may serve my emperor once again.” The woman extended her hand, allowing for no resistance.

Bai Ze had no will to resist. All of her Divine Energy seemed to have vanished.

Just when this mysterious woman was about to strike Bai Ze dead, all of a sudden, she threw a palm strike into the depths of Yunmeng Lake.

Flames incinerated a large swathe of Yunmeng Lake’s mist, and from the flames a figure revealed herself.

“Oh, these flames have piqued Qingxuan’s excitement. Is this what they call self-immolation?”

A giggling voice spoke.

The red-robed woman raised her brow, an even colder intent on the corner of her mouth.
