Qi Lin finally could see her features clearly.
She wore a monstrous mask and had her hair loosely tied up. The woman’s sleeves were casually rolled up, with tassels dangling from her cuffs. Her figure was much more slender than he had imagined, as if she was a beautiful viper.
What caught Qi Lin’s attention was her Star Weapon.
It consisted of nine sharp blades that were like a viper’s tongue, curved and winding, kept behind her back. The woman showed no intentions of stopping her pace as she continued to walk forward. That mask was very pale, brimming with as much detachment as a dead person.
When she took another step closer, she gently raised her hand. Her hand was not particularly beautiful, and compared to the phrase, “beautiful as rouge,” her hand was only a little graceful. The nine blades showed a change, and they flew out from behind her to the front. With a clatter, they assembled like cubes into a longsword.
This saber was considerably long to the point it was as long as a person stood tall. Nine dragons coiled along the blade, appearing very sinister and eerie.
She pointed at Qi Lin. Through the mask, her apathetic eyes seemed to proclaim his death.
“What Divine Name are you?” Qi Lin’s breathing was very labored. The blood-mist of the Chiyou Banner lapped at his body, slowly dissolving the “Qilin Armor.” This woman was extremely dangerous, her Realm already at the peak of High Ancient.
He was no match. From just a glance, Qi Lin knew that he could not possibly be a match for this woman.
“You wish to know my name.” She spoke, her tone slightly condescending. “This is very simple. So long as you can survive, you may ask again.”
Qi Lin grunted.
Then, the woman waved her hand. Her movement was brisk and simple to the point it was unremarkable, as if she was warding off a gnat.
The blade was drawn then sheathed.
Before Qi Lin could even react, a cut that was practically invisible to the naked eye gently split open the armor covering his torso. Then, the armor broke apart, and cold sweat instantly gushed down Qi Lin’s back.
The Qilin Armor disintegrated.
Qi Lin instantly came to his senses and promptly stepped back. This woman was too terrifying.
She deliberately used that nonchalant calm to approach him. Then, she raised her arm and swung her sword down in one smooth motion. If not for the armor manifested by the heart of the Qilin, that attack just now would have been enough to split him in two.
But the woman apparently anticipated that Qi Lin would take a step back. Thereupon, she seemed to let out a chuckle and flicked her finger.
The long saber was unsheathed and sheathed again at the spot that Qi Lin withdrew to.
This time, though, Qi Lin was able to react. His palms formed the Dual Modes Seal, “Life And Death.” The Yin Yang Fortune Body dissipated a majority of the attack’s power. This maneuver where one side flourished while the other side waned concluded with a slightly bloody cut appearing on his clothes.
“Oh?” The expression beneath the mask was one of slight surprise.
This was a perfect Destined strike. From her perspective, it should have killed the already strained Qi Lin, but she did not expect to surprisingly fail.
“Gongyang Tu, I was mistaken to reproach you. This man is indeed different from the average cultivator.” The woman was pensive.
Gongyang Tu hatefully looked at Qi Lin: “Liu’er, hurry and kill him. After we kill him, we can then go kill the Great Sage Equal Of Heaven.”
“Of course.”
The woman then aimed her killing intent at Qi Lin again.
The latter took a deep breath, facing her deathly intimidation with incredible composure.
“You can tell me your Divine Name now, right?”
The woman thought for a moment and smiled. “I decided to renege…”
Her figure moved. The woman instantly charged forth, and that long saber with nine serpents coiled around it once again fell behind her, spreading out into nine tail-like blades, each the head of a serpent. Terrifying killing intent smothered Qi Lin’s whole body, making his limbs feel chills down to the bone.
Shit.
Qi Lin felt abnormally challenged.
“I am rather fond of telling it to dead people.”
When she finished speaking, a rain of blood began.
…
Golden staff-wind blew like a hurricane, filling the entire sky. Qi Qi had created this golden storm, leaving Heaven and Earth on the verge of collapse. The four Chiyou doppelgangers were ice-cold in expression, feeling no pain at all. The weapons in their hands had snapped, so they were using their own sturdy bodies to resist.
The four doppelgangers wildly attacks, making Nezha cry foul endlessly.
“Ah, how are they so strong.” Even with her three heads and six arms, the little girl was unable to stop the power of the Chiyou doppelganger. The Huntian Ling, tri-tipped spear, golden brick, and Wind Fire Wheels were all used simultaneously, but the Chiyou shrugged them off like they were nothing.
Only the Great Sage Equal Of Heaven’s Ruyi Jingu Bang presented a semblance of a threat.
“Chaos Rank Divine Energy.”
Qi Qi used her most powerful attack, shaking Heaven and Earth, piercing cloud and stone.
Bang.
One Chiyou doppelganger crossed her arms in front of herself in an attempt to block, but her arms were immediately broken. Qi Qi then swung the staff at her head. This doppelganger was finally unable to persist, her eyes rolling back as she collapsed dead on the spot.
The remaining three Chiyou doppelgangers were unfeeling, continuing their assault.
These were also Chaos Rank Divine Energy punches.
The punch-shadows were heavy as a thousand mountains, mighty as the endlessly vast seas, even freezing Heaven and Earth.
“Huh?” Nezha’s face went pale. The three Chiyou doppelgangers surprisingly all used Chaos Rank Divine Energy.
Qi Qi grit her little teeth, smiling despite the situation. She somersaulted and raised her staff.
The Ruyi Jingu Bang was like a pillar supporting the heavens as powerful divine might spread in all directions.
Parishuddhi Universe!!
Dust and smoke covered everything in a range of a hundred li as all fauna perished.
“Qi Qi.”
Nezha nervously called from the side. She was unable to sense Qi Qi’s aura. The girl spat out a wisp of True Qi, blowing away the dust and smoke, and a pitiful scene appeared before her.
Qi Qi gripped the Ruyi Jingu Bang, having fallen to a knee, and her body was covered in cuts and bruises, and the majestic golden chain mail covering her was already shattered, a sorry figure. Blood ran down the girl’s arms, forehead, and cheeks straight down to the ground, finally pooling into a puddle of blood at the bottom of her golden staff.
Her body trembled; she was already spent.
Yet of the three Chiyou doppelgangers, another had fallen. The two that remained cut very sorry figures, but they still stared at Qi Qi dispassionately.
Without feeling.
Without anything feeling at all.
Qi Qi’s entire body was shaking as she strained with all her might to stand up.
The two Chiyou doppelgangers walked towards Qi Qi, each step beckoning death. Qi Qi fiercely rose to her feet, and the Ruyi Jingu Bang loosed a dragon-like roar. The two Chiyou doppelgangers were caught off guard and were beaten back.
But it was useless.
The Chiyou doppelgangers stood tall without falling, impassive as stone statues.
Nezha wanted to rush over and lend support, but at this moment, a girl appeared in an empty space nearby without warning. Then, Nezha was locked in place by an immense pressure.
The Chiyou doppelgangers stopped their attacks and retreated a few steps, maintaining deferential postures.
A girl slowly walked over. She was so small, such that she might fall over from a breeze, but she was also so cold and detached, as if all things in the world were insignificant to her. When she appeared, the world fell quiet.
“Who are you!” Qi Qi asked with difficulty.
“You killed two of This Lord’s doppelgangers.” She coldly spat.
With these words, a kind of despair suddenly pervaded the entire area.
“You are…”
Qi Qi and Nezha turned grim.
The girl raised her face. Her eyes were so abyssal and terrifying to the point they could consume all things.
She threw a punch.
As well as her answer.
“I am Chiyou.”
…
“Hm? What?”
Liu’er frowned. A white light dropped into the Chiyou Blood Mist and pinned her “Nine Edges.” No matter how she exerted her Divine Energy, it was unable to budge. That white light had firmly wrapped itself around her Destined Divine Weapon.
“How is this possible.”
The woman stared at Qi Lin, not believing such a thing would occur.
Qi Lin’s wounds were gnawed on by the Chiyou Banner, making him bleed even more. The Green Satchel Book was powerless to help.
Gongyang Tu’s expression was a bit unsightly. His Divine Intent controlled the four Chiyou doppelgangers, but two of them were clearly terminated while the other two appeared very weak. “This is bad, Chiyou is here. Liu’er, hurry and kill him.”
Suddenly, Gongyang Tu’s complexion paled as he sensed that the Chiyou doppelgangers had submitted to another thought.
In this Northern primordial, only one person could do so.
Chiyou.
“Why is Chiyou here?” Hearing this name, Liu’er’s expression slightly changed. She had been cultivating all along in Gongyang Tu’s Divine Womb and also understood Chiyou very well. This girl’s Divine Name was very tyrannical, much more so than the late Immemorial Royal Family.
Her “Dragon-slaughter skill” also suprassed the Immemorial Royal Family, and even Xuanyuanshi was very apprehensive about it.
If Chiyou had come, then she would be no match.
“This Chiyou had never turned the doppelgangers entirely to me at all. Liu’er, we have to hurry and kill Qi Lin, or it will be too late.” Gongyang Tu was very afraid. If Chiyou came to know that he had been exploiting her the entire time, then he would die without a corpse to bury.
“En.”
Liu’er grunted, but that white light was very troublesome. Not only was it suppressing her Destined Divine Weapon, the “Nine Sons Of Misfortune,” it also forced her attacks to an abrupt end.
Seeing this, Gongyang Tu used the Chiyou Banner at full power.
The blood-mist spanning a thousand formed into a vortex that slowly drew in everything inside the formation. Gongyang Tu bit open his fingertip and used his essence-blood and magical energy to fuel the banner. Then, he used the Chiyou Martial Chant, and the blood-mist immediately shrunk to a range of ten li, becoming even thicker and more concentrated.
Qi Lin even felt like he had fallen into a swamp, for his whole bdoy was unable to budge.
In order to make the Chiyou Banner reach its maximum effectiveness, Gongyang Tu also staked his own life, debilitating his own cultivation. His wager had obtained him his chance at retribution, and the concentrated blood-light preyed upon that white qi.
Liu’er moved her thoughts, and the “Nine Sons Of Misfortune” blades combined into a large sword. This sword was like a python, malevolent to the extreme. She grabbed the sword and leapt towards Qi Lin, swinging the blade.
“Go!!”
Qi Lin knew this a final gambit. If he did not block this, there would absolutely be no way to recover. He used the Dual Modes Seal and manifested the Dark Heaven magic treasure Cloud-piercing Arrow and Heaven-shaking Bow, loosing a Destined “Sun-chasing Arrow.”
The Cloud-piercing Arrow broke apart the focused blood-mist. The arrow-light was like the sun, scorching as fire.
Liu’er sneered. The greatsword hacked at the Cloud-piercing Arrow. With her High Ancient Divine Realm peak Divine Energy, Qi Lin could not possibly contend against her no matter how powerful he was. The “Sun-chasing Arrow” was cut down by the greatsword, exploding with scorching sunlight that forced even Liu’er to close her eyes from the discomfort.
And it was that instant she shut her eyes that Qi Lin seized his chance to advance and launch a surprise attack.
“Petty tricks, nothing but a joke.” This type of distraction was simply ridiculous to Liu’er.
She swung the greatsword.
All of a sudden, she noticed that Qi Lin’s eyes were not aimed at her.
The man’s eyes carried a powerful resolve and decisiveness that went through her and settled on Gongyang Tu.
This is bad.
Qi Lin flicked his finger.
A white beam shot out from his fingertip.
This white beam flew by, swift as a meteor.
Not even the thick Chiyou blood-mist could stop it. Gongyang Tu, who was in the middle of using all of his strength to fuel the Chiyou Banner, completely did not expect Qi Lin to target him even under Liu’er’s pressure. However, he was very calm and already had defensive measures.
Multiple layers of blood-mist formed nine shields in front of him that not even the Dark Heaven magic treasure could punch through.
But something unexpected occurred.
That unremarkable beam of white light smashed apart the nine blood-shields, breaking them apart in succession. In a breath, it was already right under Gongyang Tu’s nose.
At which point he finally saw clearly what it was.
A flying dagger.
A flying dagger that bore the aura of an Earlier Heaven magic treasure.
The Immortal-slaying Flying Dagger!!
“Chiyou Banner protection!!”
Gongyang Tu screamed. The ethereal blood-light that the Chiyou Banner emanated all focused onto his body. Liu’er had no choice but to sheathe her sword and immediately turn around to go shield Gongyang Tu, but the Immoral-slaying Flying Dagger still stuck into his body. Gongyang Tu gave a bloodcurdling shriek and suddenly fell onto the ground.
The Immortal-slaying Flying Dagger’s white light rotated, beheading Gongyang Tu.
His head exploded, and his Primordial Spirit emerged.
Just as the Immortal-slaying Flying Dagger was about to destroy the Primordial Spirit, Liu’er rushed over in time, brandishing her sword to finally repel the magic treasure.
“Courting death.”
Liu’er roared in fury. Suddenly, the Destined Divine Weapon Nine Sons Of Misfortune expanded behind her, forming nine Great Python Divine Swords. These swords were very long, slithering like snakes.
“Ten Million Destinies: Blood Of The People.”
The nine Great Python Divine Swords emitted sword-lights, each one like a descending heavenly river. Wherever the sword-lights passed, an evil aura appeared over a thousand li, hostile to all life.
Qi Lin’s expression was calm as water, unflappable, fearless in the face of this Ten Million Destinies.
All of a sudden, the blood-mist was ripped apart, and a girl tyrannically charged in, “Big Brother, Qi Qi is here.” The girl shouted. The Jingu Bang’s divine might was deep as an abyss, pinning the blood as Qi Qi defended in front of Qi Lin with countless staff-shadows.
“This Great Deity is also here.”
Nezha rushed over, too, her three heads and six arms wielding the Fire-tipped Spear with a Ten Million Destinies of her own.
Seeing the two girls appear, the woman knew she was unable to kill Qi Lin now.
She did not hesitate at all to seize Gognyang Tu’s Primordial Spirit, then turn and flee out of the blood-mist.
“Qi Lin, I am Xiang Liu. Live out your insignificant life and wait for the day I come kill you.”
“Seems you need to eat your words. You revealed your Divine Name to someone who is alive.”
“Ha, ha, ha, ha.”
The woman happily laughed. Then, she vanished without a trace.

ANOTHER arrogant woman whose word is as good as dirt…
But wait… Why did Chiyou show ip?
As Gongyang Tu noticed, she never handed complete control of the Chiyou clones to him. It’s not that far of a stretch that they also served to monitor him and his situation. Through these clones, Chiyou probably figured out the situation and decided to take matters into her own hands.
