The place they stood at was atop a small hill. The faraway Earth Sacrifice level was like an underground city, and they could even see the silhouettes of every kind of pavilion. From Wu Gu’s records, the Ten Shamans Of Spirit Mountain did not venture in any further after reaching the Earth Sacrifice level. Recorded in them was that this level was very large, split across many already abandoned palaces and mines.

If it could be said that the Man Sacrifice walked over the ground, then the Earth Sacrifice was a space fully underground, but this underground area was more enormous than he had imagined.

Qi Lin glanced at Xuesha, his intentions very clear – the majority of cultivators who came to Changliu would at most reach the Earth Sacrifice level, where treasures were in the greatest number and their distribution the most wide. Cultivators could stay here for several months and not finish trawling this place. If Xuesha came in search of treasure, this should be her objective.

“Hm?” Xue Sha also glanced at Qi Lin. The two shared a telepathic link. At such a close distance, she knew what he was thinking even without an exchange.

“Are you going to the Heaven Sacrifice, too?” Qi Lin asked.

“If you do not go, I will go on first.”

“Let’s go together.” Qi Lin shook his head. He could not have peace of mind if they acted separately, so it would be better to stay together. Besides, Heaven Sacrifice was too dangerous a place. Who knew what other monsters lurked there, waiting for him. Xuesha’s Divine Name was very special, and having her around was to have another helping hand.

Wu Xian and the other Ten Shamans arrived at the Man Sacrifice level. From faraway, they could already see the pill hall illuminated by lanterns. Very clearly, a cultivator had already entered it. Wu Xian coldly stared while the other Shamans did not move. As expected, they could hear bloodcurdling screams, and then the Soul Returning Lanterns were extinguished.

“Foolish, greedy cultivators. To extract the oil is to bring about your own doom.” Wu Pan snickered from behind. She had anticipated such a scene.

“Shall we go look at the other pill halls this time around?” Wu Peng’s eyes shifted about, her gaze darting in the other directions. Wu Xian had a Luan Pill Cauldron, which was why she was the leader of the Ten Shamans. If Wu Peng could seize this chance, she might also obtain one, and thus stand equal. Then, she would not need to worry about Wu Gu either.

“Wu Peng, if you want to take a Luan Pill Cauldron, then please think carefully.” Wu Xian calmly said: “The Five Elements Divine Lock Curse is merely secondary. The Mystery Silver Guard will take your life.”

Wu Peng twitched her mouth, noncommittal.

“Elder Sister, when are we going in?” W Pan said.

“In a moment.” Wu Xian said.

“The Ten Shamans of Spirit Mountain had previously entered Changliu, yet they pulled back just a step away from the Heaven Sacrifice? Why is that? Could it be there truly is some mystery inside that leaves even you Ten Shamans afraid of advancing?” A seeming laugh suddenly interrupted them.

The Ten Shamans looked around and spotted a beautiful woman dressed in a cloud cap, water-shaded clothes, and a silk sash tread down from an auspicious cloud. She was none other than Erlang Shen Yang Jian.

Wu Xian had been waiting for her a long while.

“I am awfully curious.” Yang Jian faintly grinned, waiting for an answer.

“Because you do not yet know the White Emperor’s might, Yang Jian.” Wu Xian calmly replied.

Yang Jian’s interest was piqued, and she smirked: “How mighty was the White Emperor when even the Primal Chaos Heavenly Court was destroyed in the end. Although you are known as the remnant Great Wu bloodline of the Immemorial Royal Family, can those esteemed tricks actually intimidate anyone? If this is truly the case, then you Ten Shamans would not be going about subjugating the Illusionary Flying Snow.”

“Yang Jian, do you know of the Immemorial Royal Family’s geomancy arts?”

“Of course, heavenly law, earthly reflection, conceal wind and gather water. The Immemorial Royal Family was fond of worshipping these odd things. No wonder they were overthrown.” Yang Jian scoffed.

“At the location of the Heaven Sacrifice, there is a very inauspicious geomancy spell. The Ten Shamans were unable to dispel it. This inauspicious art endangers Destiny itself. The Great Wu blood in us told us we must not go further.” Wu Xian calmly said.

“Hmph, it surely is just some heretical magic, nothing more.”

“Regardless, there is another a way to dispel the inauspicious magic.”

“What?”

“Fill it with life. Let these cultivators’ souls fill it, turn great misfortune into great fortune. Then, there will be a chance to enter the Heaven Sacrifice.” Wu Xian very directly answered.

Yang Jian smiled: “So it turned out that you used the Illusionary Feather at the auction as a trick to entice everyone, to make these cultivators die for you.”

“That is more or less the case. However, we cannot be blamed when cultivators get themselves killed out of greed.”

Yang Jian was indifferent to the life and death of cultivators. She had only one objective in coming to Changliu – to defeat the Illusionary Flying Snow and take its plume for new clothes. She could also make Wu Xian owe her a favor, to obtain the Immortality Secret Elixir in the end.

At the same time, on the other side.

An overwhelmingly large group had also trailblazed into Changliu, and their leader was none other than Western Sea God Yan Zi.

“The Ten Shamans are already here? Yang Jian, too?”

Yan Zi listened to her subordinates’ report and nodded.

“My lord, these Ten Shamans have apparently seen through our plan.” Fuyunzi frowned, feeling something was off. Things were not right from the moment the Illusionary Flying Snow was hinted at during the auction. The Ten Shamans Of Spirit Mountain had apparently intended to turn the Changliu matter into a focal point, drawing in even more cultivators.

“Hmph, they believe they have seen through our plan, yet they are unaware that I still have contingencies.” Yan Zi sneered: “Fuyunzi, have those who were already dispatched outside Changliu finished deploying the array?”

“Reporting to Lord God, preparations are already finished.

“Very good. Once the Illusionary Flying Snow appears, we will work with the Ten Shamans and drive it out to the Western Sea. Once on the ocean, This God will hold the advantage. Can it be I would still need to fear them then.” Yan Zi was haughty and arrogant. She already considered she would be unable to capture the Spirit Beast in Changliu itself. Only by borrowing others’ power could she drive it out over the Western Sea.

“Lord God is wise.”

Her subordinates were deferential.

“What is the current situation?” Yan Zi asked.

“Famous cultivators of the Fog Spirit Sea have arrived. There may even be some hidden Divine Names.”

“Very well, we should move out.”

“As you command.”

Descending the mountain, Qi Lin and Xuesha arrived at the city in the darkness. This city was not very large in scale, but the palace halls were very vast. This appeared to be an area for everyday life. In between, there were large fields, which should have been planted with various spirit medicines back in the day. These types of spirit fields were very likely to have retained some valuable spirit medicines, and they were the targets of cultivator excavations.

Qi Lin casually walked by, not at all interested. He did not come here this time in search of treasure.

Walking through this desolate city, there was always a kind of feeling that he was walking into history, a slightly overwhelming feeling.

Qi LIn glanced at the girl next to him. Xuesha was still graceful and confident in her step, easygoing and unhurried.

“Right, didn’t you say before that you would tell me your name the next time we saw each other?” Qi Lin remembered something. To be clear, their souls were already entwined, forming a telepathic link, but he did not know her Divine Name or even her name.

“You wouldn’t go back on your word, would you.” Qi Lin laughed.

Xuesha paused: “I am surnamed Su. You may call me Su Xuesha.”

Su Xuesha?!

This name had quite a nice ring to it.

“I wonder what your Divine Name is, Xuesha?” Qi Lin was curious.

“My Divine Name…” Xuesha’s gaze flickered for a while: “You need not know, and there is no use in knowing. It does not belong to the Primordial, and it is also beyond the Primordial.”

Not part of and beyond?

Qi Lin was dazzled. How hallowed was this.
