The Zhuyan was knocked silly by the evil qi, its body faltering and rolling in midair. Qi Qi emerged with a grunt, baring her fangs, wordlessly swinging her staff at the Zhuyan.

The Zhuyan’s face was sinister, caught off guard by the girl that suddenly appeared, but this Strange Ape’s reactions were swift. It bared its fangs and gazed with its four eyes, to make Qi Qi and Qi Lin attack each other. For the Zhuyan, the more enemies, the better, but Qi Qi merely stiffened. Her eyes glowed, and her forehead Divine Crest resonated. A Divine Name and her emissary shared an Invested Deity Contracted. It was impossible for the Zhuyan to induce an illusion of mutual slaughter upon them.1

After a strke with the staff.

The Zhuyan skin was flayed, and it howled endlessly.

But this was indeed a Strange Ape who had absorbed the quintessence of Heaven and Earth in the Kunlun Mountains. Even in such a state, it immediately shook its arms, thick and large as they were, stirring gusts like spears. Its red copper bindings clashed with QI Qi’s Meteoric Iron Divine Staff. Subsequently, its other arm curled into a claw, swiping at Qi Qi’s right flank.

This swipe was like the palm of a sage, boundless in power. This Great Sage Palm was modeled after the Great Sage Equal Of Heaven’s power. The Zhuyan’s four eyes could look in all directions, allowing to be practically unafraid of the opponent’s attacks. Then, combining this shake and grab ability, its power was even stronger, mysterious and sinister, unexpected.

However, Qi Qi did not care at all. She disdainfully sneered. To imitate the palm strike of the Great Sage in front of the Great Sage Equal Of Heaven herself was truly showing off in front of an expert. Her figure evaded this grab, and then the Meteoric Iron Divine Staff twirled and wrapped in her hand like a meat grinder.

The Zhuyan seemed to discern the might of Qi Qi’s staff and surprisingly did not dare face it head-on. It leapt backwards with an ape’s body techniques, bounding and hopping along the precipitous cliffs like a giant monkey. It was exceptionally nimble, dodging Qi Qi’s strike.

But how could the Great Sage Of Equal Heaven’s staff attack be so simple. The Meteoric Iron Divine Staff’s Divine Energy twisted, forming a vortex powerful enough to reduce flesh bodies to dust.

The Zhuyan had only just jumped away when it was immediately twisted back by staff-wind. The Zhuyan’s body shrunk, its long hairs forming strings that wrapped around its whole body. The staff-wind beat upon it ineffectually as if on a body of iron muscles and bones. Though Qi Qi heard solid strikes, they produced no injuries.

“Impervious body?” Qi Qi continued to wield the staff.

Bang, bang, bang.

The Zhuyan instantly struggled free and immediately somersaulted a hundred meters away.

Qi Qi chuckled, following like a shadow, not letting up on her attacks.

Once the girl’s assault began, it was endless. Unless she beat the enemy to death, her evil aura would not abate. The Zhuyan was unable to escape even if it wanted to, and its expression was that of terror. Clearly, it did not expect to encounter such a powerful Divine Name when it wanted to kill a single Golden Core cultivator.

The Zhuyan screamed, and it suddenly stopped in midair. A red blood-light poured into its lower limbs. In an instant, its legs became even stockier, and layers of eerie spiraling patterns coiled about. In Qi Lin’s eyes, its legs were like a palace’s coiling dragon columns, yet the Zhuyan lightly stepped through the air, as if it was walking.

“Hundred Thousand Destinies!!”

Qi Qi cackled as the staff shot forth. A hundred thousand celestial soldiers descended, adopting a vast formation.

The Zhuyan’s dragon pillar legs moved like dragonflies skimming water. The thick pillar legs skimmed the ground, yet they were as agile as dragonflies, perfectly demonstrating the word “pivotal.”

Even with tthe Dual Modes Seal’s strength and softness, light and heavy mysteries practiced to perfection, Qi Lin watched the Zhuyan utilize this ability, its enormous body like a swallow. This extreme contrast illusion between light and heavy gave Qi Lin a sensation of nausea that was overwhelming enough to nearly make him vomit blood.

“This is a corporeal body magic treasure.”

Qi Lin’s sight was keen, and he very quickly spotted the clues.

In Primordial World, regardless of cultivator, Demon Beast, or Divine Name, they all possessed magic treasures. To put it bluntly, powerful magic treasures could dominate the flow of battle. The Zhuyan’s magic treasure was refined using its own body, turning its legs into a magic treasure. By doing so, it could be wielded with greater intuition and with stronger efficacy. However, there was a drawback to corporeal body magic treasures. Each use would bring burden and damage onto the body. After a certain critical point, the body would be completely destroyed. It could be described as an ability that achieved results through enormous sacrifice.

He never expected that this Zhuyan would actually refine its legs into magic treasures.

“Qi Qi, be careful.” Qi Lin had hardly finished speaking when the Zhuyan’s legs stepped forth. It moved so swiftly that even Qi Qi did not have time to react to the Zhuyan, which had already soundlessly arrived behind Qi Qi. Its arms similarly twisted, with one hand striking Qi Qi’s neck.

This move was extremely vicious. Qi Lin felt his own neck chill. If it had been him instead, his neck would likely have been snapped. The Zhuyan’s muscles and tendons bulged, vessel after blood vessel swelling up like coiling snakes. It could well be imagined that even a neck made of genuine steel would be twisted into a fried dough twist.

Crack.

Qi Qi’s neck was snapped by the Zhuyan, and her head hung backwards.

Hearing the cracking sound of neck bones, the Zhuyan could not help but show delight. It roared and turned its hands, to dig out hear heart.

When a cultivator’s neck was snapped, their bodily qi would be thrown into disarray. Although some could survive, an extremely large opening was still exposed, one sufficient to kill them over a hundred times. But Qi Qi smirked. Her body surprisingly twisted back like a puppet, turning her body around towards the back from the front while her head did not move in the slightest.2

The Zhuyan’s eyes bulged in shock.

It seemed to be looking at a monster.

Though Qi Qi had her neck twisted by the Zhuyan, her body was still like an iron rampart, unexpectedly showing no gaps.

“This Old Sun’s neck indeed was a bit uncomfortable. Your massage was not bad…Die!!!”

Qi Qi malevolently grinned. Her evil qi twisted as she suddenly turned around. She used Million Destinies “Parishuddhi Universe” against the Zhuyan.

How could the Zhuyan have expected it would encounter such a monster, one that could remain unfazed even with her neck snapped. It was immediately seriously wounded by the Parishuddhi Universe, its “Flying Serpent Columns” unable to flee in time. Its four eyes were wide with terror, staring helplessly as the Meteoric Iron Divine Staff swung down on it head, turning its brain to paste.

Not even the Daluo Golden Immortal could survive this.

Qi Qi inhaled, sucking the Zhuyan’s Fiend Qi and magical energy into herself. The girl rubbed her nose and stretched her body.

“Qi Qi, are you alright?” Qi Lin ran over. Qi Qi had her neck snapped just now, with her head dangling behind her body, a scene that gave him a scare.

“No biggie.” Qi Qi exhaled, and a white and red Demon Core flew out. The Zhuyan’s soul could be faintly seen inside.

Qi Qi caught the Demon Core. It was crystalline and smooth, four eyes vaguely visible.

“Master, why are you so enthusiastic in collecting Demon Cores?” The white ape asked.

To refine the Ten Thousand Beasts Unbounded Banners again, he required a minimum of twelve ancient Strange Beast Demon Cores. The Demon Souls that the White Emperor previously gave him were already not very intact and could only strengthen the Ten Thousand Beasts Unbounded Banners, yet they were unable to create even stronger abilities. Right now, he had collected the Yayu, the Chiseltooth, and the Zhuyan; he needed nine more.

Of course, other than this, Qi Lin had another reason.

“I can’t meet the Queen Mother Of The West empty-handed.”

Qi Lin faintly grinned.

…Th8s line made me laugh. And Qi Qi is so very broken….

    1. Yeah, usually it’s the villains who have the cheap immortality abilities…Sun Wukong is just broken in terms of immortality.
