Her evil qi surged, and the Daoxing Tianzun did not dare meet the the Approaching Heaven magic treasure directly no matter how strong she herself was. That attack just now had nearly pulverized her arm apart.
The Eternal Dao Fruit blocked the looming Ruyi Jing Bang’s path, colliding fiercely with it.
Qi Qi knew that she could not give the Daoxing Tianzun any room to breathe, so she brandished the Jingu Bang with full power, swiftly covering the Daoxing Tianzun with staff-shadows. The Daoxing Tianzun already reached the Thunder Lake at the center of the Thunder Swamp. The scene before her eyes immediately shocked her.
A mountain-like giant of a creature floated on the Thunder Lake. This beast’s entire body brimmed with thunder, yet it was on its dying breaths. Astonishingly, this was the legendary “Kui.” A man stood on top of its body.
This man’s face could not be considered very handsome, but it brimmed with a manly air. That resolute expression on his face gave the Daoxing Tianzun an unprecedented feeling. The man was exhausted, for he used the Blood Transformation Divine Blade to support himself. Planted around this Kui were twelve banners, the Divine Energies of which were already fading, but it was very obvious the reason he was able to subdue the Kui was due to this Approaching Heaven magic treasure.
“Big Brother.” Qi Qi struggled.
“So you are the Great Sage Equal Of Heaven’s man.” The Daoxing Tianzun skillfully hid her astonishment and coldly sneered.
She had no choice but to admit that this man was indomitable, that he had the qualifications to be a deity’s acolyte.
“Release her, don’t you want to kill me?”
Qi Lin calmed his breathing as much as he could. After sensing that Qi Qi was in trouble, he activated his last magic treasure, the Ten Thousand Beasts Unbounded Banners. The banners had the souls of multiple Immemorial Strange Beasts like the Fuzhu, Yayu, Zhuyan, and more. Their might was outstanding; when they could even subdue the Holy Beast “Qilin,” even the “Kui” could not resist the Ten Thousand Beasts Unbounded Banners. In the end, it was on its final breaths as it was melded into the banners.
“Elder Sister, I feel this man can be spared in order to face the tribulations.” The Huanglong Zhenren scuttled out. She truly both loved and hated Qi Lin’s gaze. She loved that her judgment had proven correct, that this man’s talent was outstanding and could complete the tribulation, but she hated that he actually spurned her kindness and even killed her thought.
The Daoxing Tianzun glanced at the Huanglong Zhenren. Then, her gaze swept over to Nüba and Feng Huang’er.
Nüba showed a bit of fear and took several steps backward.
Feng Huang pursed her lips tightly and did not say a word.
“Hmph.”
Of these two girls, one was the Yellow Emperor’s princess, a famous Divine Name of the Northern Primordial. The other was the Phoenix Immortal Sword, an existence that stood above the rest of cultivator, but in terms of bearing, neither could compare to a man who sprung out from some rock.

Qi Qi did not want Qi Lin to be on the front lines, but the girl’s unruliness melted before the man’s gentle gaze; she handed the Golden Cudgel over to him.

Qi Lin was unmoved.
He breathed deeply. In that instant, the pillar of Yin-Yang light was harmonized to a state of balance. As he looked at the Daoxing Tianzun, Qi Lin’s heart did not contain a trace of fear. The next second, after he nodded, the man’s figure already vanished from atop the Kui.
“No…” Feng Huang’er covered her mouth, her heart incomparably shaken.
In this instant, Qi Lin’s back appeared more lofty than a mountain, obliterating the Daoxing Tianzun’s majesty.
“Ridiculous.”
The Eternal Dao Fruit glowed once again, and the boundless Great Dao pervaded the Thunder Lake.

“This Great Deity may not be able to defeat you, but there is someone who can.” Nezha harrumphed.
