The three of them walked into the main gate of the Heavenly Law Palace. The gate overflowed with crimson light. The stone beasts on the sides of the gate came to life, propping up their bodies and baring their fangs and claws at Chen Mo.

Li Xiao clearly did not expect this Star Warrior to be able to force her back. The others did not expect this either. Lu Xiujing applauded and added fuel to the fire: “Truly marvelous. The HEMA people also have a large amount of historians among them; I guess in the West there’s more need for actual historical scholarship since most of the styles died out in the 18th and 19th Centuries. Regardless, even the Chinese would do well to catalogue what can be reconstructed from historical sources, as well.
There’s probably a lot of scholarship with well-preserved primary sources for Chinese history, but I just can’t find accessible English translations to understand their content or context.
