Liu Houxiu pointed her finger, allowing Chen Mo sit in the bath as he pleased. His posture was natural and one with the water. All of his pores slightly closed, then opened, as if breathing.

For a long time, his entire body was indescribably languid and comfortable.

The White Tiger’s soul was already just about completely harmonized with his mind. The bitterness was finished, and the sweetness began. The pain from before that was a thousandfold was already condensed into a kind of powerful explosive force that was easily contained in his body. Chen Mo was unable to sense the size of the energy, but he nevertheless could sense the transformation it brought, an extraordinary desire to attack.

Liu Houxiu calmly watched Chen Mo as she gently washed her body, scrubbing her jade skin.

She was so nonchalant and unperturbed. Even the surging ocean could quiet down in the Son Of Heaven’s gaze.

“Many thanks to Lady Houxiu for the guidance.” Chen Mo gratefully said. He felt he was washed clean and prepared to leave, so as to avoid being caught by Jing Dan.

“This Cloud Pool is capable of rapidly helping restore your Star Energy. Young Lord Chen Mo, you may stay a while longer.” Liu Houxiu’s expression was happy.

One person’s eternal tranquility could influence the hearts of those around them. Chen Mo was completely without mischievous intent. An indomitable desire in his body also settled. “No wonder.” Chen Mo thought and continued to sit down. He had exhausted his Star Energy in the wilderness and indeed needed rapid recovery.

As for being caught…What a joke. Even the Son Of Heaven was unafraid, what did he have to feel guilty about.

After a while, rapid footsteps stomped through the Cool Breeze Corridor. Even from inside the Cloud Pool, one could feel the panic of the approaching person. Each footfall was a bit furious.

“Princess!!”

A voice came from outside the door.

“I’d better hide anyways.” Chen Mo reconsidered and was still worried about her reputation. He prepared to dive into the water and hide for the time being when, at this time, Son Of Heaven Liu Houxiu rose from the pool.1 Describing her flawless jade body as Heaven’s greatest masterpiece was insufficient. She ignored Chen Mo’s stare and pointed her hand, grabbing her clothes.

The gate was pushed open, and with a bang, two girls charged in.

“Princess.”

“Princess!”

Chen Mo turned his head back. Liu Houxiu was already gone without a trace.

“Ah!!”

Jing Dan saw the naked man, and her face immediately flushed crimson. She grit her teeth and spoke. “You dared to peep on Elder Sister Houxiu, I’ll kill you.”

“The Princess is not here.” Jia Fu stopped her.

Jing Dan searched around carefully and finally noticed he was the only person in the Cloud Pool. “How are you the only one here.”

“Didn’t you let me come to the Cloud Pool to bathe?” Chen Mo said matter-of-factly.

“You…”

“Jing Dan, what are you two doing.”

Jia Fu turned her head. Liu Houxiu walked over from the corridor, dressed in a simple and elegant white dress.

“Princess!”

The two women greeted her.

“Young Lord Chen Mo is currently using the Cloud Pool, you two are to stand guard.” Liu Houxiu said.

“Huh.” Jing Dan’s jaw dropped. She actually was to watch a man bathe. “Elder Sister.”

“Were you not the one who let the Young Lord come to the Cloud Pool, then you should properly watch over him.” Liu Houxiu flatly said.

Jing Dan’s expression changed. She promptly knelt; she wanted to cry but had no tears: “Jing Dan should die, please pass judgement, Princess.”

Just at this moment, Deng Yu and the other officers of the Cloud Terrace hurried over. Deng Yu was taken aback by the sight of a man soaking in the pool. She spoke gravely to Liu Houxiu: “Princess, the Qilin Martial Emperor has already brought the Qilin Pavilion’s officers into the Yuanwu Star Field.”

Liu Xiu gently nodded, turned and left.

Deng Yu glanced at Chen Mo but did not say a word. She followed Liu Xiu away.

“Ah, Elder Sister, wait for me, I’ll go help, too.” Jing Dan hurriedly said. She did not actually want to watch over a man bathe.

Chen Mo immediately put on the Heavenly Silkworm Snow Brocade when he heard this and left the Cloud Pool.

Guangwu City, city exterior.

Liu Xiu and the Cloud Terrace officers waited for the Qilin martial Emperor. The Cloud Terrace’s officers waited in strict formation, killing intent surging in all of their eyes, ready to burst at any moment. The Cloud Terrace Star Generals had many Sisters Starfall in the Qilin Star Kingdom in the past. For this reason, they had no friendship to offer to the Qilin Star Kingdom’s people.

Compared to their hostility, Liu Xiu was undisturbed, as usual. She had quite the aura about her, as if all glory and humiliation was dust in the eyes of Heaven.

Chen Mo hurried over and watched the girl. For the first time in his life, he had never felt so insignificant.

“Why are you here?”

The Cloud Terrace Star Generals looked at this man who had days ago enjoyed the princess’ jade suppleness. Their hostility towards him had not diminished much.

“This matter arose because of me, I can’t stand by and watch.” Chen Mo calmly replied.

“This is the grudge between the Yuanwu and the Qilin. You are completely unrelated.” Deng Yu threw out ice-cold words. “Do not think that the princess did this for your sake. The princess would have done the same for anyone capable of freeing the White Tiger from that vile queen’s clutches.”

Chen Mo nodded. He naturally would not be narcissistic to this extent.

Though she spoke resolutely, “Hornwood Dragon” Deng Yu still yielded the way, allowing Chen Mo to advance.

Faraway, in the sky, multi-colored lights appeared, and space very quickly warped.

Some silhouettes emerged from the lights in succession.

The woman in the lead wore a qilin long skirt. The skirt’s train was enormous, gorgeously fluttering like a peacock spreading its tail mid-flight. The woman’s assertiveness permeated the area. Her emergence made the hearts of the Cloud Terrace’s generals tighten.

The moment Qilin Martial Emperor Liu Che stepped onto the ground, she was instantly right before everyone’s eyes, no more than a few dozen meters away.

Very quickly, Huo Guang, Zhang Anshi, Zhao Ponu, and the rest of the Star Generals followed closely behind.

“Qilin Martial Emperor, you bring an army and intrude into my Yuanwu Star Field. What is the meaning of this!” Deng Yu imposingly asked.

Liu Hongyu seemed to smile, paying no heed at all to the question by Deng Yu, leader of the Cloud Terrace Generals. She pointed her finger right at Chen Mo, and an indescribable force seized him. Even with Chen Mo’s Body of the Black Turtle, he felt as weak as an ant.

Chen Mo’s expression darkened. Just at this moment, Liu Xiu softly said: “Liu Che, please go back.”

With these words, a long, drawn out breath dissolved the Qilin Martial Emperor’s divine might.

“Liu Houxiu, are you determined to fight over a man with Me?” Liu Hongyu faintly grinned.

“Young Lord Chen Mo is an important guest of the Star Mansion Palace. You have come to steal someone of the Star Mansion Palace. If word got out, the Martial Emperor’s reputation would be disgraced.” The scholarly and elegant Jia Fu slightly smiled. “In this Western Fields Qilin Hunt, the qilin was killed. All of Star World already knows. If the Martial Emperor insists on being overbearing, perhaps there will be some effect on the Martial Emperor’s fame. Please reconsider.”

“‘Root Mansion’ Jia Fu.2 Do not make a show of your Confucian mannerisms. That man hunted the qilin, and the Martial Emperor is happy for him as well. The Martial Emperor merely wishes to invite him to the Weiyang Palace for a celebratory banquet. How can you describe this as overbearing or forceful? Should this man refuse to give the Martial Emperor face, that would actually make people see him as a joke.”

“Your Servant is very grateful for the Martial Emperor’s kindness. I will definitely pay the Weiyang Palace a visit in the future in thanks, but Your Servant has other matters still. Even so, Your Servant is greatly indebted to the Martial Emperor’s favor.”

Seeing several women argue over him, Chen Mo could not sit still. He stepped forward and spoke with strictness.

He was neither servile nor overbearing standing in front of two Great Star Marquis. He was indomitable, and both Cloud Terrace Officers and Qilin Officials showed a new level of respect for him.

“Will you truly not go to the Weiyang Palace even though I invited you?” Liu Hongyu asked.

Divine might shot forth from the Qilin Martial Emperor’s green pupils. Even a Lord Of Heaven would surrender under her will, but Chen Mo had refined the souls of the Four Symbols White Tiger and Black Turtle. He was unfazed by her pressure. “Your Servant will pay the Martial Emperor a visit someday for wine and merriment.”

“You are so arrogant, how could the Martial Emperor make merry with a lowly man like you.” Hearing his words, Zhang Anshi grinned despite her anger.

“Elder Sister Hongyu, please go back for now.” Liu Xiu gestured with her hand.

“Liu Houxiu, I want to see how well you can protect him.” The Heavenly Qi and Earthly Lin swords appeared in Liu Che’s hands as she meaningfully smiled.

A man’s thoughts were not worth her further consideration. From Liu Che’s perspective, the source of this man’s audacity was none other than Son Of Heaven Liu Xiu.

A fragrant wind blew. The Heavenly Qi and Earthly Lin swords already slashed at Liu Xiu.

“Do not be impulsive.” Liu Houxiu softly commanded. She hardly finished speaking when white light met the twin swords, releasing an intense noise. Blood trickled out from the eardrums of the nearby Star Generals.

So incredible.

Chen Mo felt dazzled. The two Great Star Marquis merely exchanged blows, making everyone feel enormous pressure.

Then, Liu Xiu and Liu Che launched an awe-inspiring battle. The two rulers of Star Kingdoms appeared to be calmly standing in front of everyone, but rays of green and white light clashed intensely with speed that transcended time and space.

Chen Mo was completely unable to track their movements. In the end, he could only rely on the Deva Eyes to barely glimpse an afterimage, but this afterimage was nevertheless from several dozen seconds ago. This was like two people fighting at the speed of light. Everything that outsiders could see was the remnant of events that already “transpired.”

Chen Mo was shaken. This type of “battle” was something he was fundamentally powerless to intervene in, completely surpassing his imagination.

Untraceable, nothing could surpass this.

The Cloud Terrace Officers and the Qilin Officials were already accustomed to this. Their hands gripped weapons, and they glared at one another.

Several hundred thousand exchanges finished in the span of a few breaths.

The green light suddenly retracted. Time paused for a few seconds. All of the afterimages left by past events instantly vanished. Liu Che appeared a hundred zhang in the sky, the green light of  her Heavenly Qi and Earthly Lin swords lingering on the ground.

Liu Xiu also appeared opposite her, her white light light enveloping the sky. In her hands were also a pair of swords. Upon carefully inspection, they were surprisingly also Heavenly Qi and Earthly Lin, but Liu Che’s were jadeite in color whereas Liu Xiu’s were an ethereal white.

Chen Mo remembered that the Book Of Casting introduced several great Destined Star Weapons of Star World that even his mother was unable to fathom. Among them was Liu Xiu’s. Her Star Weapon was named “Wielding The Mandate Of Heaven.”3 It was able to morph into the Destined Star Weapon of any Star General in Star World. He never imagined that she was capable of “wielding” even Liu Che’s Star Weapon.

“To imitate my Destiny, you truly make one unhappy.” Liu Hongyu wrinkled her brow. The queen’s eyes flickered with a cold light. The Heavenly Qi and Earthly Lin Swords suddenly manifested nine stars, each one floating around the swordtip. The world was suddenly blinded by her swords’ brilliance.

A Destined Star Weapon at Seven Star became a glow, Eight Star a sparkle, and Nine Star a boundless light.

Just the power of Nine Star was enough to dim the Star Energy of the best Star Generals.

“Can you imitate even My Heaven, Earth, Dark, and Yellow.” Liu Hongyu sneered. The Heavenly Qi and Earthly Lin Swords slashed again. This attack rocked the entire Yuanwu Star Field. The sky was about to collapse and the ground about to disintegrate.

Liu Houxiu was calm as a lake. “Wielding The Mandate Of Heaven” glowed with white light and surprisingly manifested Nine Star as well.

White light covered the world, making the Star Field calm everywhere.

Powerful Yellow Ranks clashed endlessly with one another, surprisingly the exact same. Both were Yellow Rank “Qi Devours The Four Seas,” but the Qilin Martial Emperor’s Yellow Rank was domineering, insufferably arrogant, demonstrating power to devour everything in the world. On the other hand, Liu Xiu’s Yellow Rank was the opposite, gentle, receptive as an open valley, containing the power to coexist with all things.

The two extremes of power were about to produce even greater destruction.

Just at this moment, a pinprick of purple light appeared from between the two forces and became the Supreme Ultimate, forcing everything together. Everyone was shocked. They did not expect someone to be able to appear from under the power of a Nine Star Destined Weapon.

Immediately afterwards, a heavenly voice called out.

“Elder Sisters, could you both stop?”
