A phoenix flew over the Western Sea, the depths of which flit by under the phoenix’s wingbeats. Wherever it passed, the seawater seemed to boil. Qi Lin and Qi Qi rode on the phoenix’s back, personally feeling its might.

Four Seas Seek Phoenix Song!

Qi Lin never imagined that the song Prince Changqin had left him would actually have such an ability. This was far more powerful than Qi Lin had imagined. However, they had finally evaded Yang Jian’s pursuit.

The phoenix flew over the Western Sea, covering several thousand li in the blink of an eye. Some Demon Beasts beneath the Western Sea’s surface were unable to bear the pressure and hid themselves. Several days passed like this on the phoenix’s back. As the phoenix’s Divine Energy ebbed more and more, its form also began to fade, and the seawater gradually boiled less and less.

This is bad. We’ll fall into the Western Sea at this rate. Qi Lin frowned and looked all around. Everything was still endless ocean, the vastness of which would make one jittery. Right now, Qi Lin already was not very optimistic they could reach the Eastern Sea. Even a strip of dry land would be comforting.

Seeing that the phoenix was already on the verge of vanishing, Qi Lin knew he could not just sit and wait for death. He needed to find a way to maintain their course. Even if he used the Escaping Heavenly Shuttle, that could not last too long, and Heaven knew where the edge of the Western Sea was.

Just as he thought this, the sound of a whale came from faraway. Qi Lin watched as an immense whale breached the surface of the water. It spouted a column of water like a fire hose.

Dragon whale!

Shaped like a water dragon, its build was enormous, capable of swimming millions of li through the ocean, surfacing for air only at certain times. Ordinarily, they could be described as deeply hidden existences. In the Western Sea, some cultivators had tamed dragon whales to use as a means of transportation.

Qi Lin knew this dragon whale was an opportunity the moment he saw it. Dragon whales were very difficult to to tame. Reportedly, they were able to expel their bodily impurities and shackles when they surfaced for air. This was the only chance to tame them. Because they normally lived deep in the sea, they were very difficult to find, and their gargantuan builds were difficult for cultivators to control. Only when they were surfacing for air was there a chance.

Qi Lin remained on the phoenix. He moved his Divine Intent, and two banners appeared. These were from the Ten Thousand Beasts Unbounded Banners. Having undergone Qi Lin’s continuous refinement, he could finally barely exert control. Because the dragon whales entered the deep sea, he absolutely could not allow it to dive, otherwise it would be very difficult to face.

The two banners descended around the dragon whale’s surroundings and set themselves. They released two wisps of faint gray primal chaos qi. A primordial array was immediately established, trapping the whale.

The whale sensed danger and immediately released its divine aura, issuing penetrating sound like a drum.

The sound surged in all directions like a wave. The primal chaos qi was jolted, seemingly on the verge of shattering. Its technique was very formidable, bearing power that did not lose out to Primordial Infant. Golden Core cultivators were basically unable to trap, except it had run into Qi Lin’s magic treasure.

The Ten Thousand Beasts Unbounded Array’s flags had undergone refinement of the Ancient Demon souls and became incomparably frightening. Brimming with the air of primal chaos, even the whale was unable to break it with its vast strength.

The whale screeched and struggled endlessly.

Its voice grew more and more robust, that soundwave practically capable of ripping apart a cultivator’s soul.

To control a dragon whale required that it be injured first. Only then was there an opening. Qi Lin instantly produced the Dark Heaven magic treasure, pulling out the Heaven-shaking Bow and the Cloud-piercing Arrow.

The Cloud-piercing Arrow unleashed a chilling arrow-light, like an aurora. The dragon whale’s spout became a coiling water dragon that met the arrow.

This water dragon was incomparably powerful, unexpectedly stopping the Cloud-piercing Arrow flat.

“Big Brother, leave this demon to me.” Qi Qi was already very bored. She brought out the Meteoric Iron Divine Staff and charged over with a swift and sudden stride.

A terrible evil qi exploded forth. Qi Qi attacked, but the dragon whale’s hide was tough, not inferior to her own impervious body. The Divine Iron Staff struck the surface of the skin with a grating noise.

The whale opened its mouth, and a rolling soundwave barreled towards Qi Qi. The noise was ear-piercing for her, and she swung her staff wildly.

Nine Fingers Of Hell, Dragon-dissolving Palm, and the Dual Modes Seal. Qi Lin leapt off the phoenix’s back and used his powers.

The whale was still struggling. This Strange Beast was more difficult to tame than he had expected, but just at this moment, Qi Lin suddenly sensed a green-light appear in his mind. Auspicious qi that contained the divine might of the Center Holy Beast Qilin emerged and melded into the Ten Thousand Beasts Unbounded Banners.

Under its divine might, the whale at last slowly calmed down and ceased resistance.

Qi Lin gratefully said: “Little Sister, it’ll be fine if you’re just awake.”

That mysterious woman did not answer though the green light throbbed.

Qi Lin seized this chance to imbue his Divine Intent into the whale’s mind. In the end, he barely managed to subdue it. Although he did not know how long they could sail like this, they finally crossed the immediate hurdle for the time being.

Looking at the endless Western Sea, he did not see even a sign of the legendary Western Kunlun Mountains that was said to be at the edge.

Qi Lin knew he could only be patient. On this boundless Western Sea, they already had no opportunities to turn back.

Ten Shamans City, Wu Gu Pavilion.

Li Si walked through a corridor. Like a cloud of black smoke or a plague, wherever she passed, the other guards and cultivators were clearly very frightened.

Li Si paid them no mind as she walked straight into the Wu Gu Pavilion.

“Li Si, why have you come?” Wu Gu was startled to see her.

“I am bidding you farewell.” Li Si said.

“Farewell? Why?” Wu Gu was confused: “Right now, I’m already popular for the next generation of Ten Shamans. The reputation of my pills developed so swiftly all thanks to the rumors you spread. Why are you leaving?

“Could it be that the Fallen Soul House’s fengshui is already unable to help cultivate the power of your Divine Name? I can help you change to another.” Wu Gu said.

Li Si was expressionless. She showed no anger, as if she were dead waters. “Elder Sister Wu Gu, you should also leave. Now that White Emperor Shaohao has awakened, the Shaman Spirit Kingdom is on the precipice of danger. According to what I know, should the Middle Earth Divine Kingdom learn that Shaohao is here, they will perhaps use full power to destroy her. In the face of imminent calamity, it would be wise to leave first.”

“Primordial World is so vast, Little Sister is overthinking. Several months have passed without any activity. If they truly killed the White Emperor, we may even be able to benefit.” Wu Gu was a worthy businesswoman. In regards to benefits, even the White Emperor was nothing special. Revering and serving her was a matter a hundred thousand years ago.

Li Si shook her head, slightly bowed, then turned to leave. Just as she was stepping out the door, the girl suddenly said: “I forgot to tell you, Elder Sister. A man used to rent a room at the Fallen Soul House. He had the capabilities to alter the fengshui. And he is none other than the Emissary of the Great Sage Equal Of Heaven you mentioned…”

“What! Altering geomancy, is this not altering heavenly law, how is this possible.”

Wu Gu was shocked.
