The Cloud-piercing Arrow drew a silver arc, forcing all the demons, ghosts, and immortals into retreat. Qi Lin used the arrow-light to directly escape. Meanwhile, a ray of killing intent nipped at his heels like a dragon. The killing intent came without warning, bursting forth through the mist and coiling itself around his body.

Qi Lin suffered the blow and stumbled in midair. The nearby ghosts and demons seized the opportunity to pounce, however, Qi Lin countered with the Dragon-dissolving Palm, repelling the ghosts and demons. That killing intent descended towards his head, but Qi Lin drew the Meteoric Iron Divine Staff to block it and retreated.

A woman with a beautiful but fierce face strode out. In her hand was a spear that was pure black in color, with a dragon coiled around it. Her spear thrusts were like a viper flicking its tongue, and black qi swirled around the spear, turning into a dragon as she exuded intimidating Divine Energy.

“Divine General?”

Qi Lin was taken aback.

“Fortune-increasing Great General” Han Dulong sneered when she found Qi Lin. Without uttering a word, she brandished her Divine Weapon, the “Black Dragon Extinction Spear.” With a roar, the spear burst forth like a dragon, its spiraling killing intent churning apart the mist as it loomed over Qi Lin.

The Meteoric Iron Divine Staff bluntly swept forth and clashed with the Black Dragon Extinction Spear.

Qi Lin retreated as he fought. His martial arts were superb, and the Four Yins Four Yangs of the Yin Yang Fortune Body did not lose out to the prowess of a Middle Ancient Divine Realm Divine General. Even in close quarters, he was able to contend against the Divine Energy in each of the Divine General’s attacks.

The two battled fiercely, giving the Mirror Of All Ghosts, Demons, And Immortals room to squeeze in.

Several strange lion and tiger Demon Beasts swiped their claws. Qi Lin’s left hand attacked with the Pixiu Power Palm to split open the forehead of one of the felines, yet another bit onto his arm, sinking its teeth deep into his flesh. Fortunately, the Yin Yang Fortune Body incorporated the Sun And Moon Essence, the spiritual influence of Heaven and Earth; an ordinary bite could not even cause him pain. Qi Lin flexed his arm, and Four Yins Four Yangs Divine Energy suddenly burst forth from his flesh.

The lion’s fangs disintegrated as it died with blood flooding its mouth.

“Hm?” Han Dulong raised her brow as she easily slaughtered several of the incoming lions.

“Seems you are not an ordinary cultivator.” Han Dulong sneered. She stepped forth, warping in front of Qi Lin without leaving any tracks, the Black Dragon Extinction Spear unleashing a bitter wind.

“Life Ender!”

Han Dulong used her Hundred Thousand Destinies Skill, raising an intense and cold wind.

The Meteoric Iron Divine Staff was surprisingly unable to muster any power at all. QI Lin bellowed and used the Dual Modes Seal to attack the Hundred Thousand Destinies Life Ender. Spear-wind clashed with the light and heavy, strength and softness in his hands. The intense wind merely lacerated his palms, unexpectedly, failing to seriously injure the target.

Han Dulong showed an astonished expression that her Hundred Thousand Destinies would actually be blocked like this. She was about to attack again when ten thousand ghosts rose from the holes in the ground. Countless phantoms wrapped themselves around the two and dragged them towards the holes, as if to pull them into the depths of hell.

After they destroyed the ghosts, True Immortal-like cultivators controlled sword chants to attack.

The two combatants clashed back and forth amidst the Mirror Of All Ghosts, Demons, And Immortals, evenly matched. Other than responding to their direct counterpart, they were also warded off the magic treasure’s sneak attacks.

“Fuck off!!!” Han Dulong was furious. She used Million Destinies, grinding the ghosts and immortals to dust. She then gripped her staff and charged.

Qi Lin did not panic. A Divine Crest glowed upon his forehead, and he used Destined Skill “Weight Of Mount Tai.”

The might of the Five Sacred Mountains barreling down upon her stagnated Han Dulong’s body techniques. At the same time, Qi Lin activated the Five Elements Universe Origin Shackles. The five shackles cuffed themselves around Han Dulong’s limbs and neck, restraining her Five Elements and brought suffering upon the woman.

But Qi Lin was not yet finished with his fatal strike. The Cloud-piercing Arrow in his hand was already fully charged and loosed with a graceful white light.

This is bad!!

Han Dulong’s hair stood on end, and she felt fear. She immediately activated her magic treasure, the “Heavenly Decree Divine Talisman.” A white talisman floated above her head and released a white light, releasing her from the restraints of the Five Elements Universe Origin Shackles. The woman raised her spear and met the Cloud-piercing Arrow with Ten Million Destinies.

The Dark Heaven magic treasured collided with the Destined Skill in an enormous, mountain-shaking explosion. All the surrounding demons, ghosts, and immortals were blasted to smithereens while Han Dulong screamed, her sorry figure fleeing into the white mist. Very quickly, her presence vanished.

The Cloud-piercing Arrow and Five Elements Shackles returned to his hand. Qi Lin frowned as he took a deep breath and used the Green Satchel Book to heal his wounds.

The woman just now should be a Middle Ancient Realm Divine Name. To have followed him into the mist, it appeared that Yunmeng Lake was being targeted.

Not long after, Qi Lin reached the end of the red light and passed through the white mist, where he spotted Qi Qi and the rest.

“Qi Lin, why so slow.” Nezha teased.

“Husband, you are injured.” Changxi gathered spirit-light into her hand. The healing light’s warmth flowed throughout Qi Lin’s body, more comforting than the Green Satchel Book.

“Are you alright?” Qi Lin asked.

“What could happen in mist.” Nezha scoffed.

Qi Lin was finally relieved when he saw they ought not to have encountered the Mirror’s entrapment.

At the end of the white mist was a fairyland-like scene. The sky was clear and blue, the streams ran clean, the green mountains were lush, and flowers bloomed in abundance. White cranes and other spirit hawks soared nimbly through the sky, and white rabbits and other rare creatures scuttled over the ground, an auspicious scene.

The peacock “Baibai” chirped and landed on Qi Lin’s shoulder, preening itself as if it had accomplished its task. Qi Lin warmly stroked its long feathers: “This was all thanks to your guidance, Baibai.”

The peacock was arrogantly quiet.

Qi Qi snorted, a bit upset over this peacock’s lofty attitude.

“It really was all thanks to Baibai’s guidance that we could get through the Yunmeng Mist.” Changxi quietly said. If not for Baibai flying into the mist and leaving behind the red light to lead them, they all would have been stuck in this mist going around in circles for a long time.

Yu Shiqie and Hou Ji curiously looked at te bird.

The Northern Primordial was full of peacocks, but they had never seen one like Baibai.

Everyone who had been gazing at the fairyland then turned their gazes to Qi Lin. Qi Lin saw that Baibai had no intentions of leading again, and he asked Yu Shiqie: “Yu Shiqie, what about now? Any recollection?”

Yu Shiqie thought carefully but still came up with nothing. “Your Servant honestly does not remember.”

“Oh, well.” Qi Lin was not surprised.

“How do we find Bai Ze in such a large place?” Hou Ji was vexed.

“I will take a look.”

Qi Lin flew into the air and used geomancy to scan Yunmeng Lake. Since Bai Ze was the Immemorial Royal Family’s most erudite Divine Name, she ought to be well-versed in the ways of geomancy. However, after searching for a while, Qi Lin discovered that Yunmeng Lake’s fengshui was very strange, as if it could change at any moment and without any fortune or misfortune to speak of.

Just at this time, “Baibai” the peacock, who had been perched on Qi Lin’s shoulder, chirped and flapped its wings, taking flight towards the lake.

“Seems this peacock knows of another clue.” Yu Shiqie gasped.

“Let’s go.”

Yunmeng mist.

Wei Hu had lost the crimson light’s lead. In the end, she lost her way in the mist and had no choice but to go back. Fortunately, she had the “Heavenly Decree Divine Talisman” that the Daoxing Tianzun prepared earlier. This talisman was a treasure of the Heavenly Decree Palace, able to turn misfortune into fortune and guide the user to the right path.

The hundred disciples were already outside Yunmeng Lake, and she spotted Xue Ehu, who was also hanging her head in dejection.

“Sister Wei Hu, did you find Yunmeng Lake?” Xue Ehu asked.

Wei Hu shook her head, grim: “This Yunmeng Lake is honestly too strange. That red light seemed to realize we were following and very quickly vanished.”

“Elder Sister, you think that Qi Lin will be able to find Yunmeng Lake?”

If it was before, Wei Hu definitely would not admit that a Primordial Infant cultivator could be capable of passing through a mist that even a Middle Ancient Divine Realm Divine Name could not, but that crimson light was a bit abnormal. Wei Hu felt that this time, their counterparts perhaps have a very good chance.

“Just what is in this Yunmeng Lake. That mist was filled with demons, ghosts, and True Immortals, quite similar to Bai Ze’s magic treasure, the Mirror Of All Ghosts, Demons, And Immortals.” Xue Ehu said.

“If this truly was Bai Ze, we must report to the Tianzun about this level of Divine Name.” Wei Hu sighed: “Knower Of All Things. Bai Ze is aware of the affairs of all demons under Heaven and of all immemorial mysteries. If we can capture her, our Heavenly Decree Palace can conquer the Northern Primordial.”

Xue Ehu grunted.

Not long after, the mist parted, and Han Dulong stumbled out.

“Sister Dulong, why are you in such a sorry state?” Wei Hu was displeased.

Han Dulong recounted her battle against Qi Lin in the mist. “That boy has a Dark Heaven magic treasure, I was careless.”

“Dark Heaven magic treasure?”

Wei Hu was shocked and glanced at Xue Ehu.

“Is that not one of the magic treasures that the Xuannü Of The Nine Heavens forged?”

The Xuannü Of The Nine Heavens was one of the Ten Patriarchs. During the previous Register Of Deities, she forged the new Dark Heaven category of magic treasure. Later, she vanished without a trace, and the Dark Heaven magic treasures were also lost to Primordial World.

“It appears that cultivator had a lucky encounter, to surprisingly be able to obtain a Dark Heaven magic treasure. I fear his Divine General is not simple either.”

Wei Hu pondered.

“Immediately relay this order. Have the disciples prepare the ‘Heavenly Cycle Divine Decree Star Rotation Formation.’ We will wait for him to emerge, we must not be careless this time.”

“As you command.”

Depths of Yunmeng Lake.

In the center of the marsh, a sixteen to seventeen year old girl knelt on the ground, her hands clasped in prayer. A spiritual light surrounded her as countless unusual ancient scripts endlessly flowed around her, transforming like birds, beasts, fishes, or bugs.

Qi Lin and the others slowed their pace and stopped on the outside of the halo.

Baibai landed on Qi Lin’s shoulder again and preened its tail feathers.

The girl was full of a quiet beauty, making them reluctant to disturb her peace.

“If I may ask, miss, are you Bai Ze?” Qi Lin asked very courteously.

The girl continued to pray, as if she did not hear.

Qi Qi was a bit impatient. Baring her teeth, she wanted to charge into the halo but was stopped by her big brother.

“Brother?”

“Wait.” Qi Lin smiled.

Qi Qi pursed lips and patiently waited.

After a moment, the girl finished praying. The halo and scripts surrounding her slowly returned to the lake. The girl rose, her long dress that was as white as snow stunning everyone. When she opened her eyes, everyone could not help but feel stifled.

The girl’s eyes were extremely pure, like clear, white gems, flawless to the extreme, without any blemishes.

All past, present, and future negative emotions would all fade in these pale white pupils.

“Are you ‘Knower Of All Things’ Bai Ze?” Changxi’s warm, motherly temperament made the girl’s eyes shift slightly.

“Yes, I am called Bai Wanfang.” The girl replied.

“You, who have come to Yunmeng, who the Mirror Of All Immortals was unable to stop, if you want to kill Wanfang, then please do.” Bai Ze was neither humble nor overbearing, neither sad nor happy. She accepted whatever fate awaited her with equanimity.

“I never imagined that the one cultivating in Yunmeng Lake would actually be Bai Ze.” Hou Ji still did not dare believe this was true right now.

“Can it be that Lady Wanfang believes we are the sort of people who would indiscriminately kill?” Qi Lin stroked his chin. He actually considered himself quite affable.

Bai Ze’s eyes glanced at the peacock on Qi Lin’s shoulder, but she did not say a word.

“We have come with a request. The floods of the Northern Primordial are already beyond King Yu’s power. We hear that Knower Of All Things Bai Ze is omniscient, and we wish to ask Your Dsitinguished Self Bai Ze, how should we control the floods.” Hou Ji promptly asked.

“The Register Of Deities has revived. Flooding of the Northern Primrodial is merely the beginning, and Wanfang does not dare speculate…”

The girl hesitated. Then she softly uttered a timid answer.

Everyone could not help but be taken aback.
