The first thing that Qi Lin saw when he opened his eyes was an enormous silver moon hanging in the sky.
That moon was so close in front of him, so astoundingly large. The soft moonlight poured down and covered the ground like a blanket. Qi Lin’s head ached a bit; an excess of information flooded his mind, and he suddenly recalled the scene from his dream.
Moon Mother.
Changxi.1
Was that a contract?
“Big Brother.” Qi Qi happily leapt over when she saw him wake up.
“I worried you.” Qi Lin stroked Qi Qi’s head.
“Do you realize now how you made her worry?”
An apathetic voice asked.
Qi Lin lifted his gaze and spotted Lu Wu close by. The guardian deity of Western Kunlun stared at him with an expression of incredulity.
“Is Chang safe?” Qi Lin immediately asked. His gaze swept around, yet he was unable to find Chang’s figure. Right, in the immortal lake, White Emperor Shaohao apparently appeared, but now, she was gone without a trace. Then, he saw that the Ninth Divine Gate was already open, as if beckoning him in.
“Brother Qi Lin, I am fine.”
A specter appeared from the side. Moonlight gathered into a beautiful figure, and Chang appeared before Qi Lin.
