Then, Yu The Great thought to dredge the rivers and divert the flow of the Eternal River into the depths of the Northern Sea, but the endless Eight Desolates Mountain were the greatest obstacle to dredging the rivers. Yu The Great then devised a way to draw the waters. Yu The Great wanted to borrow the Eastern Sea Dragon Palace’s Ruyi Jingu Bang to see whether or not it could cut open a channel for the dredging.
Qi Qi brought out the Ruyi Jingu Bang. By her will, the Jingu Bang immediately became long and extended into the flood.
Qi Qi used her Divine Energy, and the Jingu Bang glowed with crimson light. The flood waters surged and crashed, colliding with the mountains. Then, Qi Qi warped into the air, her body nimble as a swallow. She flew forward, attempting to make that flood changed direction together with the Divine Energy of the Jingu Bang.
At first, the flooded marsh showed signs of calming, but very quickly, the floodwaters intensified further, pouncing forth like a giant, heaven-overflowing beast.
