With Yang Jian’s Realm, she could very easily sense the “Qilin Child” air that separated him from everyone else. If she made further deductions, his identity could hardly be concealed. Each of these High Ancient Divine Names all grasped situations clearly. To lie in front of one was a complete fantasy.

Qi Lin was acting conflicted when a gentle and ice-cold female voice came from inside the room all of a sudden.

“Husband, who is the lady outside, why doesn’t she come in?”

This voice…

Qi Lin thought rapidly, his expression calm. He hesitantly said: “Wife, I’m afraid she may worsen your injuries.”

“To be able to meet a legendary Divine Name is my fortune.” The voice was a bit weak.

Qi Lin invited Yang Jian into the room. On the bed, she saw a young girl in white laying there. Her expression was absolutely beautiful, yet her complexion was pale. Indeed, she was that mysterious girl.

“Husband? Are you two spouses?” Yang Jian frowned. The girl in front of her did not really match the “Great Sage Equal Of Heaven” that Wen Zhong had described. That monkey Sun was like an immature girl, carrying evil qi she could hardly conceal; anyone could sense pressure from her at first glance.

But the breathing of the girl in front of her was weak, as if she had internal injuries; she was pitiable. If that Great Sage Equal Of Heaven was this way, then Yang Jian was very disappointed.

Qi Lin naturally sat by the girl. His hand wrapped around her soft and supple shoulder, and he said with concern: “Wife, are you better? Maybe you should lay down for now, so as to avoid wind chill.”

The girl grunted. She seemed magnanimous, gentle.

Yang Jian’s third eye opened. She was able to see that there was a vague soul entanglement between Qi Lin and Xue Sha. To a cultivator, an intermingling of souls was a very private matter, similar to dual cultivation. Such a matter could not be faked. Upon seeing this sight, Yang Jian was finally convinced these two were companions.

“How are you injured?” Yang Jian asked.

“Just some disease while cultivation. Husband and I are going to the Shaman Spirit Kingdom to look for some spirit medicines to heal.” Xue Sha said softly.

“Take good care of your wife. The thing that I, Yang Jian, loathe the most in life is someone unfaithful.” Yang Jian coldly said.

Qi Lin assented in terror: “This Lowly One does not dare be unworthy of Wife.”

“En, recuperate then. I have disturbed you.” Yang Jian walked out of the cabin, leaving Xu Fu still staring.

Upon seeing Yang Jian exit, Xu Fu said: “I will bring Elder Sister Yang Jian to look around the hold.”

“No need.” Yang Jian was not interested. She had already used Divine Intent to scan the auras of the five hundred boys and girls, which were not worth her attention. Yang Jian looked back at Qi Lin again and saw the couple acting sweetly. She pursed her lip, and with one step, entered the void. After three steps, she was already gone from the seas.

Seeing Yang Jian leave, Xu Fu finally breathed a sigh of relief. She hastily ran back to Qi Lin’s quarters.

“Wife, your symptoms need Yin to be alleviated. How was the pearl from last time?” Qi Lin asked.

“Unhand me.” The girl lowered her brow, her tone cold and detached.

Qi Lin let go and gratefully said: “Truly, many thanks for just now.”

“I returned the favor for the pearl.” Xue Sha said: “We are even.”

Qi Lin grinned. He did not expect her to be cold as ice on the inside yet warm as water as well; she even kept this matter in mind. The girl merely asked why Yang Jian was after the siblings and did not concern herself with other matters. She delicately rose, easy and free.

“Your Servant is Qi Lin, Qi from the Great Sage Equal Of Heaven, Lin as in qilin. We could be considered to have been brought together by fate. I wonder what little sister’s name is?” Qi Lin asked.

“You need not know. We may never meet again.”

The girl brushed off her sleeves and left the room. The starlight filling the room then receded.

“Ahem.”

Qi Lin, who had been rebuffed, was a bit helpless.

After she left, Wang Jian also carried Qi Qi in.

“What just happened?” Qi Lin asked curiously.

As it turned out, after Yang Jian appeared, Wang Jian had a feeling of foreboding. Her Highness Xue Sha was just looking for her, so she had Qi Qi be first taken among the five hundred boys and girls in the hold while she herself stayed in Qi Lin’s room to handle the situation. “Her Highness seems to be aware of your identity?” Wang Jian was serious.

Qi Lin was not bewildered. What was bewildering was that the girl appeared too unfazed.

“I’m growing more and more curious about what her Divine Name is…She surprisingly was able to fool even Yang Jian.”

Qi Lin showed a meaningful smile.

“Your Highness, these siblings may be the people that Yang Jian are searching for.” Xu Fu whispered. “What do you think, who could make Yang Jian chase after them across such a long distance to the Western Sea?”

“Their identities do not matter, that is not any of our concern. Since they are aboard the Immortality Boat, they are guests. We would do well to forget about this incident.” Xue Sha flatly said.

“Very well.” Xu Fu nodded. Since Her Highness ordered it, she could only suppress her own curiosity.

However, she then recalled how Xue Sha and that man addressed each other as husband and wife, their intimate manner. Xu Fu felt very jealous – this man was honestly too lucky.

The time afterwards passed very calmly. Ever since Yang Jian defeated Western Sea God Yan Zi, she sought no further quarrel. After passing through fog, they reached the Fog Spirit Sea, and every finally sighed in relief. The Fog Spirit Sea encompassed the surrounding five million li of the Fog Spirit Archipelago, which was so named due to the canopy-like mist surrounding it year in and year out. These waters reportedly included a piece of the leyline from the legendary Divine Mountain, West Kunlun. Thus, the spiritual power here was abundant, nourishing countless marvelous spirit grasses and herbs.

At the center of the Fog Spirit Archipelago was the nation known as the Shaman Spirit Kingdom, which was governed by the Ten Shamans and was famous far and wide in the Western Sea.

They also maintained the security of spirit grass transactions across the entire Fog Spirit Archipelago. After the merchant ships that crossed the five rivers and four seas entered the Fog Spirit Sea, they all received the Ten Shamans’ protection. The topography of the millions of island outside the Shaman Spirit Kingdom was complex. There were innumerable ruins and dangers, and because there were too many treasures, there similarly were countless dangerous Strange Beasts born here as well.

These Strange Beasts were practically all Condensed Core Realm, which was extremely threatening. However, these Strange Beast materials was also a very important source of spirit medicine for the archipelago, which could be said to be a place filled with both peril and treasure.

“And so, all of you must be extremely careful. Don’t just run if it isn’t Condensed Core Realm.” Xu Fu earnestly exhorted: “Once we’re out of the Shaman Spirit Kingdom, there will be a lot of cultivators and Divine Names scouring the archipelago for spirit medicines. Some of these cultivators are specialized in killing and robbing others. Every year in the Fog Spirit Archipelago, more cultivators die to other cultivators than they do to Strange Beasts.”

A lawless area, Qi Lin was not surprised. The more prosperous, disorderly, and dangerous a place was, the more crime would flourish in that area. In any world, this was the same, especially in Primordial World.

Qi Lin was only one step away from Golden Core Realm, being nearly there, but such a  complicated place was the most optimal in helping Qi Qi and him conceal their identities. This was their silver lining.

Xu Fu’s Immortality Boat followed a naval route guide and passed through the fog and islands. After sailing for more than ten days, the fog slowly receded, and they reached their destination. An enormous city-state spectacularly entered Qi Lin’s view.

…This line reads very awkwardly but I’m not totally sure if it’s wrong or just very weird phrasing.
