“I want to choose a room on my own.”

Qi Lin thought for a minute.

The Blessed Heavenly Paradise’s guests were inherently very few in number, and Lady Qi did not mind this very much, “But this store has a rule. You must pay a deposit of 2,000 Wu jade. You can stay for a full fifty days, and if you leave a day earlier, there will be no return of the deposit.”

Hearing her words, Qi Lin could not help but laugh. As expected of a businesswoman, they were always looking for a way to make money at all times. She was clearly aware that the Blessed Heavenly Paradise’s guests all wanted to reside here for one or two days based on a mentality of luck, so she may as well directly charge the price for four days. This way, she would not be at a loss.

“No problem.”

Qi Lin had already exchanged the chests he plundered from the Western Sea God for Wu jade; there happened to be more than thirty thousand.

“Fellow, which Heavenly Paradise do you want to choose?” Lady Qi asked.

The Blessed Heavenly Paradise was a palace constructed on a large mountain, surrounded by hills and rivers, an auspicious place that a leyline ran through. What Lady Qi said actually was not wrong. This place was indeed a heavenly paradise situated on top of a leyline. It was much more formidable compared to the True Intent Hall Heavenly Paradise, but this place’s fengshui was apparently affected by something, which distorted it into an “impermanent fallen soul” fengshui situation.

This type of fengshui would produce a so-called “tomb.” People who lived here would feel ill at ease and lose their Three Souls and Six Spirits, something inauspicious. If a Golden Core cultivator was unable to link their Three Souls and Six Spirits into one for Primordial infant Realm, then they would show weakness and depression. Fortunately, Qi Lin was proficient in geomancy and had his own way to deal with this.

After searching for a long time, Qi Lin finally spotted a very unremarkable heavenly paradise. The heavenly paradise had a bit of haze outside of it, with two thin requisite sheets of sand. With a faint rumble, they sandwiched the front of the heavenly paradise. Then, they forced the haze into the Lesser Bright Hall. In fengshui, “bright shoulders on top, dark wings below, the middle is both bright and dark, the edges have both and have none.” In geomancy, this was “cicada wing sand,” which according to fengshui design would have the effect of doubling results while halving effort.

This was perfect to use to change the fengshui situation.

“This one.” Qi Lin nodded.

Lady Qi saw from a glance that this heavenly paradise was unexceptional. It was at the end of the leyline, a place of no interest to anyone. Even if the symptom of fallen soul, other cultivators would choose the floor with the most abundant spiritual energy, not a place like this. “Fellow, are you sure?”

“Yes.”

“Very well, then.” Lady Qi did not stop him. In her mind, this young man was probably like the others; he would leave in two or three days.”

“Your Servant does not stay the night on these grounds. If something happens, Fellow can seek out ‘Li Si.’1 She lives on the top floor.” Lady Qi apologetically said.

“Li Si?”

“She seems unaffected, so she is always looking after this shop, but unless there is no need, absolutely do not disturb her cultivation.” Lady Qi paused. Her expression very clearly transmitted a message. Qi Lin was likely to realize this Li Si girl may be a Divine Name.

“Many thanks.”

After retrieving the key, Lady Qi advised him on a few other matters. Then, she did not dare stay in the vicinity of the heavenly paradise.

“Master, why did you choose this place.

The white ape was perplexed. He also sensed this place was somewhat strange.

“This place is isolated, well-suited to concealing oneself. Also, there are hardly any cultivators here. All of the spiritual power here can be at our disposal, which is perfect to satisfy both Qi Qi as well as my own cultivation.” Qi Lin chuckled. Although the True Intent Hall’s spiritual power was good, there were too many people, which meant there was not enough to go around. This was woefully inadequate to support the Great Sage Equal Of Heaven’s cultivation.

Although this place had fallen soul fengshui, it would not affect Qi Qi very much. If he could slightly tweak the fengshui situation a bit more, then this would be a treasure ground.

Qi Lin inspected the heavenly paradise’s surroundings. He devised a plan to change the fengshui, and after leaving Qi Qi alone, he went to the Ten Markets on his own.

The magic tools to change the fengshui situation were not at all expensive, and Ten Shamans City’s trade was booming. He was able to purchase most of what he needed, except for the relatively rare and final ingredient, “jade in heaven.” He was unable to purchase it even after visiting so many shops. He even ran to the Sixth and Seventh Markets, the auctions, trade pavilions and other places for transactions, and he found no trace of it. It seemed one particular cultivator had purchased every last piece of jade in heaven for their cultivation method. For the time being, the stock was depleted.

Qi Lin arrived at the Eighth Market’s largest trade center – Room of the Jewel Source.

“Shopkeeper, still no soul supplement pills today?”

Just as Qi Lin was about to ask a question, a man’s voice came from behind him.

Qi Lin turned his head back to see a depressed man enter the center and inquire about a pill. The trade pavilion helped people with the sale of various items, and they collected commissions from these trades. Whenever someone needed something, they needed only to leave their name, and many cultivators would come inquire for information. In Ten Shamans City, it was very bustling.

“The Medicine Spirit Pavilion’s newest is the Lesser Soul Pill, would you like to try?” The shopkeeper said.

“I already have, but it’s completely useless.” This Golden Core Realm man had a worried expression.

“This is already the best soul supplement type pill.” The shopkeeper was helpless. “Lord Wu Xian is currently refining her newest soul supplement pill. It will be ready in two more days.”

“It all depends on Lord Wu Xian.”

The man left in disappointment.

Then, a second, third and more male, female, old, and young cultivators came in succession by the dozen, only to be very disappointed to learn there were no soul supplement pills. “Are soul supplement pills so popular?” Qi Lin asked.

“Fellow, is this your first time in Ten Shamans City?” The shopkeeper smiled.

“Right.”

“A hundred seas to the north of Ten Shamans City, there is an archipelago. A poison miasma has lingered about that place for the past two years. Any cultivators who enter it will receive varying degrees of harm to their mind, and they can only rely on some soul supplement pills.” The shopkeeper said. Mind-type pills were inherently rare. Even the popular elixirs in Ten Shamans City were very rare. As it happened, that archipelago possessed many materials and was a very famous treasure ground in the Fog Spirit Sea. Many cultivators were reluctant to leave it be, but going on a trip there required about a year’s worth of rest. It was honestly too arduous, so over the last year, Ten Shamans City’s soul supplement elixirs were already rising steeply in cost.

Qi Lin pondered. The Green Satchel Book apparently had some prescriptions of this sort. He would have to take a good look when he returned.

“Right, Fellow, could it be you also want soul supplement pills?” The shopkeeper asked.

“No, I want Jade In Heaven.”2 Qi Lin said.

“Jade In Heaven?” The shopkeeper froze.

“What? You don’t have any here either?” Qi Lin was a bit gloomy.

The shopkeeper stared strangely at Qi Lin, “I just so happen to have one piece.”

“That’s great, I want to buy it.” Upon hearing this, Qi Lin was overjoyed.

“I am afraid this will be a bit problematic.” The shopkeeper was conflicted.

“It’s very expensive?”

“It’s free!”

Qi Lin was confused.

“If I may ask, where is Fellow staying?”

Qi Lin paused. He looked into the shopkeeper’s eyes. Apparently, his answer would be the crux of whether or not he received the Jade In Heaven. After thinking for a moment, he still answered: “I’m staying at the Fallen Soul House for the time being.”

“Ah, so that’s how it is. Then this Jade In Heaven is yours, Fellow.” The shopkeeper smiled.

“Eh?”

“That person instructed me to never sell this jade, but that should a person of the Fallen Soul House come for it, they may take it.”

“Huh?”

Qi Lin’s brow rose. There was apparently some kind of inside story.

The shopkeeper brought out the Jade In Heaven and gave it to Qi Lin, who thanked the shopkeeper and left in a bit of bewilderment. Regardless, now that he obtained this Jade In Heaven, he could successfully alter the fengshui.
