“Alright.”

When Qi Lin placed the last Jade In Heaven piece in the gan position, the eight directions of the abode had already adopted a True Dragon Bright Hall. This was a dragon formation in geomancy, “for all dragon grounds, dragon qi will thrive for a long time, binding caves until the end, hardly impeding the force of mountains, forming a mountain of surplus qi.” This kind of fengshui could gather ambient qi, even with an impermanent fallen soul, but gathering it all into one place was not the issue.

“Master is truly formidable. Just where did you learn these powers?” The white ape sensed that there seemed to be a weightlessness in its chest, an abundant spiritual power, nothing uncomfortable. As for Qi Lin’s fengshui reversal, the white ape showed disbelief.

Geomancy could be called the Immemorial Royal Family’s most secret ability. Even many top-notch Divine Names of the Immemorial Royal Family had been unable to comprehend it, but the words of the fengshui of geomancy arts were etched into their very bones. It was very unimaginable that a young man of the Great Primordial could have touched upon such a domain.

“Talent.” Qi Lin was evasive and neither did he plan to explain.

After altering the fengshui, Qi Lin could continue cultivating in satisfaction. However, what was important was still to go obtain information on how to reach the Eastern Sea. The safest plan was to distance themselves from Yang Jian as soon as possible.

After making Qi Qi cultivate properly in the abode, Qi Lin then headed out again.

Upon his departure, a young woman wearing a black skirt and a black veil quietly watched him from an exquisite jade staircase above, her eyes deeper than any abyss.

“Another Immortality Banquet is being convened, and the Shaman Spirit Kingdom is growing noisy again. I wonder whether or not we we can obtain the Immortality Secret Elixir this time.”

“Don’t be deluded, emissaries from so many nations have arrived recently, to say nothing of the rumors that the Western Sea God Cult of Yan Zi has also begun making moves.”

“What? Yan Zi has been plundering merchant ships on the outside of the Fog Spirit Sea, and the Shaman Spirit Kingdom even plans to let her join the banquet?”

“Who’s there to stop her? Yan Zi is the Western Sea’s Divine Name, and in the end, the ‘Ten Shamans’ are merely of the Shaman Clan, do they dare offend her? Yan Zi is the cause of no shortage of complaints, yet the Ten Shamans turn a blind eye. They say she is very close to Wu Ji of the Ten Shamans.”

“Ai, is the Western Sea God also after the Immortality Secret Elixir?”

“Bullshit, five hundred years of longevity is merely the secondary reason. Increasing Realm is more important. Now that the Register Of Deities is active, these Divine Names have placed their hopes on these absolute spirit medicines to complete their tribulations.”

In the market square, Qi Lin could hear matters pertaining to the Immortality Banquet everywhere in the most rowdy inns, tea stands, and shops as he walked by. Originally, he had heard from Xu Fu, but he had paid it no mind, thinking it was the emperor’s banquet. However, now that he had heard so many people discussing it, this Immortality Banquet was apparently very significant.

“Immortality Secret Elixir…Sounds pretty good.” Qi Lin thought but still dismissed this idea. Those able to attend the Immortality Banquet all had status and significance in Ten Shamans City; he could not overcome these, let alone, perhaps Yang Jian would appear at the banquet. It would be better to avoid seeking trouble.

As usual, Qi Lin casually mentioned the Eastern Sea.

Very quickly, other cultivators streamed in endlessly.

These cultivators who postured themselves as well-traveled were always reluctant to show their experience, however, the information he obtained still left Qi Lin very disappointed.

“The Eastern Sea? To get to the Eastern Sea from the Western Sea, this is too far, probably a trillion li.”

“Us cultivators would have a chance to get to the Western Continent only if there’s a portal.”

“Meaning, it’s impossible to get to the Eastern Sea from the Western Sea?” Qi Lin nonchalantly gave this Golden Core man another cup of wine.

“I hide nothing from Little Brother. There is definitely a way to reach the Eastern Sea from the Western Sea, but things will be very dangerous a hundred thousand li beyond the Shaman Spirit Kingdom. There aren’t even any places to rest. Even a Primordial Infant Realm’s magical energy would be exhausted. The Shaman Spirit Kingdom’s spirit medicines are so profitable, but no one from the Eastern Sea has come to trade, and that’s because they aren’t able to come. Even by boat, they would take at least several years, maybe even more.”

This man with twisting sideburns drank ravenously, launching spittle as he spoke.

“Hmph, fool, who says you cannot go to the Eastern Sea.” A young man from an adjacent table sneered.

Qi Lin glanced at him.

This man gazed back fixedly as he calmly at his food.

Having been contradicted, the big man with the sideburns was not very happy: “Then tell us how to go there.”

“On the edge of the Western Sea, there are the Western Kunlun Mountains. The Western Kunlun Mountains have a passage to the Eastern Sea, yet you were even unaware of this.” The jade-faced man bluntly pointed out: “Little Brother, you have poured wine for him in vain.”

“Western Kunlun Mountains…Ha, ha, the sleeptalk of fools. To say nothing of the fact the Western Kunlun Mountains are one of Primordial World’s Five Divine Mountains, with the Western Sea so vast, who knows where the Western Kunlun Mountains are. You may spend a century searching and never find it. Ridiculous.” The big man jeered.

“At any rate, once you find the Western Kunlun Mountains, you will be able to go to the Eastern Sea.” The man was not interested in explaining.

Qi Lin mediated: “Fellows, let’s not make a big fuss over this. This Eastern Sea is too uncertain, we’d better chat about the present. I heard that soul supplement pills are in a shortage. With the Fog Spirit Sea archipelago stretching so far, can it be there aren’t any spirit medicine materials?”

“Oh, this, huh. There are.”

Thereupon, another lengthy conversation ensued.

“Shopkeeper, the bill.”

The young man paid his bill and left the restaurant. Qi Lin also paid off his account and left to follow him.

Crossing past an alley, the young man stopped. “For what reason do you follow me?”

“Your Servant is Ling Qi. I’m somewhat interested in what Fellow mentioned earlier, about the Eastern Sea and Western Kunlun Mountains.”

The young man was not surprised. He seemingly smiled: “You wish to know how to go to the Western Kunlun Mountains?”

Qi Lin shook his head: “Your Servant wants only to hear more about the Western Kunlun Mountains.”

“Oh, I once had the fortune to obtain a map from an ancient cave. The map has some hints regarding the Western Kunlun Mountains. If you would like to know, then I could sell it to you.” The man chuckled and revealed his profiteering nature.

“Ha, ha, Fellow jests. Since I am unable to reach the Western Kunlun Mountains, what would I want with the map.” Qi Lin was taken aback and chuckled.

The man frowned, “Forget it, then. I will go sell it to someone who needs it.” Saying this, he turned and left.

Qi Lin let him leave, for he was not in a rush, anyways. But hearing that there was hope in venturing to the Eastern Sea, Qi Lin breathed a sigh of relief. Next, he should first find a vessel capable of sailing into the expanses of the Western Sea.

What was depressing was that Qi Lin had spent so much time running to so many harbors, yet not one boat had thoughts of going into the furthest reaches of the Western Sea. The reason was very simple; that place was too dangerous. When even the real Yan Zi did not dare set foot there, no one would dare go either.

Unable to find a boat willing to go there, Qi Lin could only settle for Plan B, which was to buy a boat himself.

A boat capable of sailing ten million li cost upwards of a million Shaman jade. In order to get a boat capable of surviving the wind and waves in the furthest reaches of the Western Sea, one needed to go to the shipyard and specifically commission one. This price was also an astronomical sum.

Money, oh, money.

Qi Lin truly loathed this thing that was the root of all evil. He never imagined that Primordial World would be so inflexible.

Making money in the Shaman Spirit Kingdom was not difficult at all. The materials as well as the cores and flesh of the marine Demon and Strange Beasts distributed over the hundreds of thousands of islands could be sold at good prices here, but it would take several decades to accrue the funds necessary to go to the Eastern Sea. By then his hair would have turned white. Qi Lin could not wait this long. He moved his Divine Intent and flipped through the Green Satchel Book, hoping to find a solution.

Pills, soul supplement pills.

Qi Lin flipped to a page, and his eyes lit up.

“Five Flavors Soul Returning Powder!”1

    1. That will depend on whether or not Qi Lin can actually make the medicine and if he is savvy enough to sell it.
