The Greatly Enlightened Golden Immortal is without duality; the Western wondrous Dharma originates from Bodhi.

Neither born nor dying, they move in three groups of three, complete in qi and spirit, ten thousandfold compassion.

Thirty-third Deva, Purity Deva.

There was a boundless lake, the green waters of which were spread like jewels over a thousand li, so bright they could freeze time. The surrounding exotic flora also seemed to be frozen, and a woman stood barefoot in the center of the lake, looking down upon its surface.

This woman’s hair was tied in a snake bun, its long and green length more beautiful than the lake, with each strand concentrating the essence of sweet dew. She wore gorgeous clothes, with layers of thin muslin covering her like moving clouds, surrounded by pearls and emeralds, a string of red and green.

She extended a slender, snow-white arm. In her hand was a glowing bamboo stalk. The stalk had a shining string dipping into the lake. The woman’s eyes were closed, her long eyelashes slightly quivering. She was so quiet; not even the slightest breeze was willing to disturb her, as if she was a exquisite painting whose beauty was beyond compare.

The peaceful time very quickly was destroyed.

Another woman in a kasaya walked into the quiet lake. When she saw the woman fishing so gracefully, she turned furious. “Zhunti, you still intend to fish here. The big fish have all escaped, and the small fish you catch feed only yourself.”

The woman’s voice was an evening drum, a mourning bell that shocked the world, yet the Purity Deva remained unmoved. The lake was as undisturbed as before, and the grasses showed no sign of movement.

“Hmph.” Seeing the green-haired woman remained silent, the other woman snorted and obediently remained to the side.

A while after, the fisherwoman opened her eyes.

Hers were a pair of eyes brighter than the sun and moon. She gently pulled up with her hand, and the shining bamboo in her hand lifted, revealing that two small fish had been hooked.

These fishes were also strange. They were completely red in color, their scales glowed, and they spat up foam.

These were “Yin Yang Carps,” rare Star Beasts1 in Primordial World, which were distinct from normal Strange Beasts. Star Beasts reportedly fed on the radiance of stars and could grant Divine Names every kind of inconceivable power.

In Primordial World, Star Beasts were practically already extinct.

“The Yang Carp and Yin Carp are a pair, known together as the Yin Yang Carp. To separate the pair in such a way is not what our Western Sect advocates.” The woman seriously preached.

The green-haired woman gently lifted the Yang Carp while the Yin Carp that glowed with a cold light surfaced from under the surface of the lake, as if it was watching.

“Go.”

She opened her palm, and the Yang Carp jumped into the lake. Very quickly, it reunited with the Yin Carp.

The Yin Yang Carps intertwined, sharing joy and sorrow, a beautiful scene.

“Zhunti, have you still not captured Kong Xuan?” The woman asked. “Our Western Sect is to face off against the Three Doctrines, and we cannot manage without Kong Xuan. With her Five-colored Divine Lights, the Western Sect will be like a tiger that grew wings.”

“Kong Xuan is one of Primordial World’s Ten Ancestors. You are also aware of her Five-colored Divine Light’s power, and to recruit her will not be easy at all.” Zhunti Daoren ambled strolled about the lake.

“Both of us have entered sage Realms, and we are still unable to recruit her?” The other speaker was none other than Jieyin Daoren as well as the Amitabha Buddha, one of the Two Sages of the current Western Sect.

Compared to the quiet and elegance of Zhunti Daoren, Jieyin Daoren was quite bit more talkative, always wanting to say something at every moment.

“This Daoist is fishing for information on her.” Wherever Zhunti Daoren passed, the lake frothed, and time began to move.

“No need to fish, I already know where she is.” Amitabha Buddha giggled.

“Oh?”

“Kong Xuan recently appeared in the Northern Primordial.”

“The Northern Primordial?” The woman counted on her fingers, “She should be heavily injured now and yet to recover.”

“Yes, you must hurry and capture her. You cannot fail this time, otherwise I will punish you.” Amitabha Buddha said with a serious expression. “However, Kong Xuan is one of the Ten Ancestors. If we sages appear, that will alarm the Three Doctrines, the effect of which will not be very good. Thus, you must control your Divine Energy so as to avoid disturbing the Three Doctrines, that Laozi especially. Damn her. If she were to realize what we were doing, she will definitely find clues.” Thinking of that Grand Supreme Laozi who rode on a green ox and conducted herself with a languid yet clear mind, Amitabha Buddha appeared worried.

“En.”

Zhunti Daoren softly grunted.

“Very well, I will not disturb you further. The Western Sect has many matters I must attend to. Ai, Zhunti, oh, you. As if you care at all…All you have to do is capture Kong Xuan and you have not even done that.”

“This Daoist knows.”

Amitabha Buddha smiled in satisfaction and vanished from the Purity Deva.

Zhuolu, Yellow Mountain.

The Jiang tribe was currently very busy with the imminent Feng and Shan sacrifices, where Xuanyuanshi would be crowned the Yellow Emperor and thoroughly change the situation of the Northern Primordial, pouring herself into the annals of history. However, regarding Xuanyuanshi’s coronation as the Yellow Emperor, although the Northern Primordial had many complaints, they all pertained to Xuanyuanshi’s continued military actions during the flooding. The absolute majority of people were not at all surprised that she was to become the Yellow Emperor.

Back when the Primal Chaos Heavenly Court invested the Five Emperors, Xuanyuanshi was among those for consideration. However, she could not compare to Emperor Yao, whose reputation back then was even better, who was renowned throughout the Northern Primordial, and who could make Divine Names submit to her. Because of this, Xuanyuanshi made a clean break with the Heavenly Court and terminated all contact with them.

When the Primal Chaos Heavenly Court was destroyed, the majority of the Immemorial Royal Family had vanished and entered the Register Of Deities, yet she remained.

Now that the Register Of Deities had activated again, Xuanyuanshi’s coronation as the Yellow Emperor was only a matter of course.

Yellow Emperor Xuanyuanshi perused the Yellow Court Scroll in her hands, paying little attention to the hustle and bustle around her. Although the Feng and Shan Sacrifices was a very important ceremony, Xuanyuanshi generally felt it lacked something. Compared to the glory of the late Five Emperors, just what was missing?

Xuanyuanshi consulted the ancient texts to find some outlines.

“Your Majesty.” Feng Hou stepped forward and announced her presence.

“Hm? Speak.”

Yellow EMperor Xuanyuan’s brow did not move.

“A Divine Name calling herself Yu Shiqie has stepped forward seeking refuge.”

“Yu Shiqie?” Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan did not have an impression of this Divine Name, so she probably was not a significant Divine General. There were too many Divine Names in Primordial World, and those able to spread their fame all had outstanding military achievements.

In her coronation as the Yellow Emperor, those Divine Generals that sought refuge from her were too numerous to count. None of them were particularly noteworthy, and she was not inclined to care either.

“Why does she seek refuge from me? Send her on an errand as you see fit.” Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan casually said.

“Your Majesty, she said in this Feng and Shan Sacrifice, Your Majesty lacks something. She has brought information on this object.” Feng Hou respectfully answered.

“Hm?” The woman’s interest was finally piqued. She put down the Yellow Court Scroll and slightly raised her brow.

Feng Hou intuitively understood and immediately made someone escort her into the palace.

Yu Shiqie timidly walked into the main hall. She instantly spotted Xuanyuanshi standing high above.

Her divine might was like an abyss, unfathomable, nearly making Yu Shiqie fall limp.

“Your Servant Yu Shiqie greets Your Majesty Xuanyuan.” Yu Shiqie deferentially greeted her.

“State your objective, see whether or not We will be satisfied.” Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan indifferently interrogated her.

Yu Shiqie did not dare be careless and immediately said: “Your Majesty is holding the Feng and Shan Sacrifice, yet this important matter is missing a Divine Name. If this Divine Name were to appear at Your Majesty’s ceremony, not only the Northern Primordial but even Primordial World’s Three Realms will have no choice but to recognize you.”

“What Divine Name could have such great capabilities? Could it be that Emperor Yao has been reborn?” Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan asked, amused.

“This Divine Name is Knower Of All Things Bai Ze.” Yu Shiqie said.

“Bai Ze?”

Feng Hou could not help but be taken aback.

Yellow Emperor Xuanyuanshi finally recalled what she was missing – yes, an influential Divine Name. Back then, Bai Ze served the Donghuang Taiyi, and her ability to know all things heavenly and all things earthly was known to everyone in Primordial World. If Bai Ze were to appear during the ceremony on the day of her coronation as the Yellow Emperor, her name as Xuanyuanshi would very clearly henceforth be known to all and become even more famous than the late Emperor Yao.

“Are you sure you know Bai Ze’s whereabouts? Knower Of All Things is certainly not so easy to find.” Feng Hou stared and asked.

“Yes, Your Servant knows.”2

“If you truly can find Bai Ze, your contribution will not go unnoticed, Yu Shiqie.” Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan was enormously pleased.

Yu Shiqie timidly said: “There is one other matter that Your Servant should perhaps inform Your Majesty.”

“What is that?”

“This pertains to Emperor Yao and the cauldron…”
