When the Register of Deities initiated, all kinds of treasures and relics from the countless successive generations of ancients of the register would fall to every corner of Primordial World like a meteor shower filling the skies. Divine Names and Divine Cultivators who signed Invested Deity Contracts could sense the power from these fragments of the Register.

Huang Feihu and Pang Bi heard the legend about the Heaven-devouring Stone, and they thought there could be a piece of the Register inside of it. After the feast ended, they impatiently hurried towards this mountain that no cultivator had set foot on.

When the pair arrived at the foot of the cliff, they looked up and saw Qi Lin and Sun Wukong at the top.

However, their appearances here honestly too young. The body Qi Lin possessed was no more than seventeen or eighteen years old, and Qi Qi from head to toe looked like a little girl.

Just as Qi Lin was about to speak, a foehn wind suddenly gusted. The woman took up a long saber and was already slashing at Qi Qi. That man did not say a word either, snapping his fingers in perfect sync with the woman, firing a black light.

The pair’s instantaneous attack caught Qi Lin off guard. He never imagined that his counterparts would attack so decisively.

Bang.

Qi Qi stopped the long saber with a fist. Her arm was like copper, clashing with sparks against the saber. The girl threw a punch, knocking the woman heavily backwards. At almost the same time, Qi Qi appeared in front of Qi Lin, smashing that black light.

The girl’s arms were just like Divine Weapons, her movements heavy and forceful, surprising the other two.

“As expected, she is also a Star Name.” Huang Feihu laughed.

“That a nameless cultivator could appear here, he could only be an Invested Deity Emissary.” Pang Bi offered praise to the girl: “To be able to break my ‘Eight Hells Finger,’ you cannot underestimate her, Houyan.”

“Who are you?!” Qi Qi coldly asked, her lips pursed.

The woman’s expression became a bit unsightly. “Very good. You surprisingly are unfamiliar with even the Shattered Hell of Huang Feihu. Even in death, there is no way for a nameless twerp like you to enter the Register Of Deities.

“Huang Feihu?” Qi Lin was taken aback.

Fuck, he was given the post as the head of the Five Sacred Mountains’ rulers in the Investiture of the Gods, the divine position of Great Emperor of Eastern Hell.

“Houyan, enough small talk. It would be better to just kill them and bolster our Destiny.” Pang Bi leapt, and his figure became a multitude of demons that pounced towards Qi Lin.

This escape technique was known as the “Demonic Asura Escape.” Once activated, his power would be like an asura or a demon. If a weak cultivator saw his escape technique, they would be scared out of their wits and unable to go on.

Just as Qi Qi was about to stop him, Huang Feihu brandished her own Divine Weapon, the “Shattered Hell,”1 and launched an attack.

“Little girl, your opponent is me.”

The woman slashed with her saber, a “Black Wind Luan Breaker” attack.

The saber unleashed chilling black light, and the world seemed to turn dark. Huang Houyan was like a dark luan swathed in black lightning, arrogantly descending into the human world in an instant, destroying everything.

Amidst the lightning, Qi Qi nevertheless did not budge a single bit.

Scared stiff? Huang Feihu inwardly jeered. Divine Names had seven Realms, and she was already at the second, True Ancient Stage. The might of this True Ancient move was absolute. The saber-light was already swiftly brushing over her opponent’s entire body. With just this little bit, her opponent would be cut to pieces, with absolutely no possibility of finding an intact piece of flesh.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

In an instant, the black saber-light instantly covered her opponent.

Countless saber-shadows sliced wildly. Even a Golden Core Bagua cultivator would be dead for sure. The saber-light attacked with a series of clangs, metallic collisions. Her saber seemed to be cutting against iron.

Huang Feihu’s expression changed.

The saber-light dispersed, and the girl remained steady as stone. Huang Feihu’s Black Wind Luan Breaker had surprisingly only ripped her clothes.

“An impervious body?”

The woman was astonished.

“Courting death.”

The Great Sage Equal Of Heaven flashed a wide grin. She threw an apathetic punch.

The punch-wind was fierce, emitting a solid sound. As expected, hers was an impervious body. Divine Names that possessed this ability were practically invulnerable to weapons at or below True Ancient Realm.

Huang Feihu pulled back, but Qi Qi’s speed far surpassed her expectations.

Bang.

She had already closed ten meters extremely quickly in but a breath’s time. She punched again, striking Huang Feihu’s stomach.

Enormous power disintegrated Huang Feihu’s organs, making the woman vomit blood as her body hurtled away.

“Houyan.” Pang Bi shouted.

Huang Feihu stood with difficulty. One of her arms dragged behind her, seemingly broken. The woman asked in disbelief: “Just what is your Divine Name?”

“Take a guess.” Qi Qi grinned, showing her pearly white teeth, exuding a domineering aura.

The girl was instantly in front of Huang Feihu, her punches like a downpour.

Huang Feihu sidestepped and used her right hand to firmly grasp her Shattered Hell. The saber’s edge unleashed a black light that used all of her remaining strength. She was completely did not expect that this seemingly boulder-like girl who had only just revived would suddenly exhibit such an enormous metamorphosis. This sort of feeling was like she was unable to see the forest for the trees. Only when she brushed away the leaves did she realize this boulder was as invincible as Mount Tai.

But even Mount Tai was nothing special.

Huang Feihu’s Star Name was the Great Emperor Of Eastern Hell. So long as she reached a certain Realm, she could become a god of Mount Tai, too.”

“Hundred Thousand Destinies, Hell Landslide!”

The woman roared.

Saber-light flashed.

The nameless mountain collapsed.

Pang Bi and Huang Feihu’s minds were interlinked. Seeing that she was surprisingly no match for the little girl, he was inwardly a bit apprehensive. He immediately targeted Qi Lin. Under an Invested Deity Contract, should the Divine Name’s contractor die, she herself would also suffer harm. This could create his opportunity.

Pang Bi unleashed his full power against the Third Deva Qi Refinement Qi Lin.

Whoosh!

A rhomboid chain and javelin as thin as his pinkie appeared in Pang Bi’s hand. He pumped his arm, and the chain suddenly expanded while the javelin seemed to come to life. Standing tall, it was as sold as a True Spear forged through a hundred smeltings of Essence Steel.

This magic treasure was the “Hard Chain Spear.”2 It was a spear of the great primordial, able to act as a chain or a spear once shaken. A superb item, it was like a serpent.

Under his incantation, the Hard Chain Spear “clattered” swiftly as the wind towards Qi Lin, stabbing at him like a storm.

Magic treasure?

Qi Lin was shocked. This magic treasure swept towards him like machine gun fire. In his memory, Shang Xuan possessed very formidable strength and agility, but he was caught by a magic treasure known as the “Crow Feather Fan.” In the end, he lost his life. Qi Lin was deeply aware of a magic treasure’s might, and he immediately brandished his right palm.

A fire red halo flew out from his palm and struck the Hard Chain Spear, the cold tip of which was unable to advance further.

This palm attack combined with the power of Nine Yins Nine Yangs was comparable to True Qi Ninth Deva Realm. Even Pang Bi’s magic treasure was helpless against it. The man was inwardly shocked, but he had plenty of experience in hunting. Under his speed, his figure shrunk, and he activated the “Demonic Asura Escape Technique.” Monstrous shadows multiplied, eclipsing the sky as they intimidated Qi Lin’s mental defenses.

For Pang Bi, cultivators weaker in Realm would very easily show openings.

After Pang Bi pulled back, his next attack, “Brute Ox Desolation Breaker Punch,” followed close behind.

The punch was like a feral ox’s horn, wild above and rigid below, its might unparalleled. Even the ferocious lions and domineering tigers of the wasteland would die for sure to this punch.

True Qi frothed on the punch. Qi Lin was keenly aware of this attack’s might. All of his pores opened, and a premonition of danger flooded his body.

Any other True Qi Third Deva cultivator would have long been dead under Pang Bi’s Demonic Asura Escape and the Brute Ox Desolation Breaker Punch, but Qi Lin’s mind was as steady as a boulder, unmoved. He immediately attacked with his left palm.

Blue lights pushed forth through empty space.

If it could be said that the previous fire-red halo was tyrannical, ferocious, and raging, then this blue light had an unfathomable power to freeze everything.

Pang Bi felt only that his fist was covered by the cold light. An ice-cold sensation penetrated his bones, and his surly Primordial True Qi seemed to be frozen.

Qi Lin clapped his hands together.

The red and blue halos were like carps leaping out from an empty lake, swimming around each other. They combined, forming Daoism’s yin-yang pattern.

Dual Modes Seal!!

Pang Bi was startled.

What kind of power was this?

The Dual Modes Seal crisscrossed over Pang Bi’s stomach, making the man vomit blood. Pang Bi shook his sleeve, and the Hard Chain Spear became a serpent, twisting once again.

Pang Bi formed a hand seal. The serpentine spear wildly charged, and then he pointed a finger at Qi Lin.

Hell Finger – Ghost Cry!

A Yin ghost’s weeping echoed. Qi Lin suddenly felt his skin tingle and his hairs stand on end. The ghostly finger attack hurtled towards his chest. Qi Lin activated his True Qi defenses. A Star Crest shimmered on his forehead.

Qi Qi blocked in front of him. Her invulnerable body firmly resisted Pang Bi’s Ghost Cry Finger.

“Courting death.” The girl grit her teeth. Her eyes were completely red, and Fiend Qi surged. She threw a punch, roaring like a giant ape.

The punch-wind thundered against Pang Bi, who did not have the opportunity to even dodge. His body immediately fell to a knee, blood pouring out of his seven apertures.

“Just what Divine Name are you!”

Pang Bi did not dare believe this. The girl’s punch surprisingly left him heavily injured.

“Pang Bi.” Huang Feihu’s blade stopped Sun Wukong’s next punch, for she moved immediately to protect her own Emissary.

“This girl’s Divine Name is not simple. We are no match for her.” Pang Bi’s organs were shredded. He was thoroughly able to feel the heaven-shocking might from that blow just now.

“We have to run away now, return to Zhaoge for now. She should be Middle Ancient Realm. We have to report this to Di Xin, and we will return to annihilate her later when the time comes.” Huang Feihu knew she was outmatched and was already planning to run.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

Qi Qi disdainfully grinned.

Huang Feihu put her fingers together. At the same time, she used her Divine name’s most powerful technique.

“Hundred Thousand Destinies, Weight Of Mount Tai!”

Whoosh. The phantom of an enormous peak descended towards Qi Qi from out of empty space. Immense pressure suddenly made Qi Qi’s whole body unable to budge.

Pang Bi seized the chance to use an escape technique to flee with Huang Feihu.

“Emissary, you must not let them get away. Otherwise, your regrets will know no bounds.” The white ape’s voice came from inside the forest.

Qi Lin naturally was aware of this, but the enemy’s escape technique was too fast. He was completely unable to catch up. Qi Qi was temporarily restrained and unable to pursue. All of a sudden, Qi Lin felt his mind open. A scroll appeared in front of him. It slowly unfurled; depicted on the scroll were some weapons.

These were archaeological finds Qi Lin knew from Earth.

The Heaven-shaking Bow and the Cloud-piercing Arrow flashed and manifested.

“This is.”

Qi Lin knew what to do. He drew the Heaven-shaking Bow and nocked the Cloud-piercing Arrow.

Pang Bi was already a hundred li away in a few breaths’ time. His figure was very quickly just a tiny black dot. Qi Lin focused. Heaven and Earth came into view.

Locked onto the two peoples’ signatures, he did not hesitate to pull back on the bowstring.

Bang.

The bowsting twanged. The blue sky seemed to jolt.

The far-off black dot also seemed to freeze. The Cloud-piercing Arrow whooshed as it punched through space.

A boundless murderous intent approached like a tidal wave.

Pang Bi and Huang Feihu’s expressions changed at the same time. Their faces were ashen. “Dark Heaven magic treausre!”

The Cloud-piercing Arrow ran through Pang Bi’s chest. The man screamed and lost his life as he plummeted from the sky. “Pang Bi!” Huang Feihu vomited blood. She never imagined that they would surprisingly meet such an end.

But in the next moment, Huang Houyan similarly sensed terrifying pressure.

She turned back to see that eight to nine year old girl was already above her, sneering.

“Just what is your Divine Name.”

Huang Feihu lifted her Shattered Hell in despair.

Qi Qi’s fist opposed the Divien Weapon.

“This Lady is Great Sage Equal Of Heaven Sun Wukong!”

“Great Sage Equal Of Heaven?” Huang Feihu was flabbergasted.

The iron fist clashed with the blade. Qi Qi roared.

Hundred Thousand Destinies.

Hundred Thousand Heavenly Weapons Breaker!!

The divine might on her fist suddenly burst. Huang Feihu felt a hundred thousand weapons attack her. Without even the time to scream, her body was swiftly pulverized. A speck of light flickered from her Star Crest, like a crying infant. This was Huang Feihu’s Destiny. Qi Qi opened her mouth and swallowed her “Destiny.”

  1. I don’t mind Star Generals being OP. They’re Star Generals… and Son Wukong is OP af.
Nah my issue is h9w O0 Qi Lin is from the get go.

Like, Su Xing became OP for sure, but 8t took m9st of the n9vel to get there and he wasn’t so OP that he could beat someone like Yingmei. Hell, he ran from m9st of h8s fights or had h8s girls with him. Qi Lin is cool, but I hope he has to work for his OPness m9re… or at least more consistently gets reminded he’s not really OP and needs to us3 his head more. Still like him more than Chen Mo though.

And Qi Qi someh9w rem8nds me of an inverted Gongsun Huang… being like, her polar opposite or something. Kinda reminds me of Shi Yuan actually.
